Floyd vs Manny how does the fight play out?

:good I haven't lost interest though. Online I'm not going in the hate threads. Too many good fights coming up.

Really I just want to wake up one morning and see a legit source saying the fight is signed in a way that everyone knows it's garenteed. .

Pac is my boy but i see Mayweather pot shottin him to a close decision victory. I hope Freddy comes up with somethin. First time i ever doubted Pac

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I can't understand why Floyd would be scared of Manny - he's bigger, stronger, and more skilled. Pac is truly great but he's far too one-dimensional to beat Floyd.

 

First round nothing really happens both guys basically trying to feel each other out both are giving each other a great deal of respect.

Round 2 Pac comes out throwing and landing PBF goes into a shell still trying to feel Pac out and get his timing down missing on most of the few shots he attempts. Pac hits PBF with a straight left flush the crowd goes wild PBF is backed up goes to the ropes but clinches and buys time.

Round 3 Pac really trying to turn up the heat almost going for broke he has PBF shelled up and he's not looking to answer back Pac really starting to move in and out firing shots and get back out of range even though nothing is really landing clean. In the last few seconds in the round Pac gets careless and PBF hits him with a flush right hand. PBF winks to the crowed as to have said I've figured Pac out.

Round 4 Pac's workrate dropping PBF is starting to use his superior jab and reach to keep Pac off balance and control the distance. Pac looks frustrated as he wants to go to war PBF want oblidge him and hits him with a lead right hand over and over.

Round 5 Roach tells Pac he has to make this a war. PBF is starting to find his rhythm and is in a grove. He peppers Pac from range and gets the best of him on the inside walking him into shots he doesn't see. Pac clearly doesn't like it on the inside and is getting beaten up while in there.

Round 6 PBF pot shotting Pac. Pac can't cut off the ring and is in obvious distress. He once again throws his hands in the air begging PBF to trade but PBF pops him in the mouth with a straight right that staggers Pac. Pac then comes in wild and is countered to over and over again. Pac has a cut and is starting to bust up. PBF is starting to make this fight look easy.

Round 7-9 More of the same PBF being the ring general Pac reduced to following PBF around the ring and getting picked apart. Pac's one-dimensional style has finally caught up to him as he has no answer for PBF and looks confused. His face reduced to a bloody mask for his efforts. It's starting to look like the fight might be stopped.

Round 10 Pac can't see out of one eye, his face is swollen and he's getting hit at will by clean counters and lead right hands. PBF starts to showboat sticking his chin out and doing the Ali shuffle Roach jumps up on the apron and throws in the towel. PBF by TKO. PBF jumps on the ropes telling the crowed I told you so. After the fight Pinoys and *******s commit mass suicides and boxing message boards around the world are finally free of the *******s.

 

Both guys are in their 30s tho so if it doesnt happen very soon it will be a waste of time because excuses will be made, especially if one or both dont go into the fight coming off a dominant win were they looked sensational - as they have done recently.

Now is the time, who knows when that fight comes were they just seem old overnight, it could be vs each other, primes dont last forever & these guys have been in the game for a long time.

 

no doubt Freddy will have Pac prepared.....and im not counting Pac out or Freddy but Floyd adapts so well in the ring to whatever the other fighter is having success with and he forces them to scramble for another option....Fredy doesnt like to give too much instructions in the corner most corners dont as it confuses the fighter. I have Floyd winning because despite what others say about him and big fights...when he does accept them...he performs beautifuly.....no doubt though he often times is pushed to a limit forced to fight at his best...see Oscar, Zab, Cas, even Mosley.....when forced to fight...he does with brilliance.

I expect the same even moreso with the stiff comp in Manny Pac

 

He offered the fight on a plate to Pacquiao for March.

Pacquiao walked out on it. So he gave it to Mosely instead.

Pacquiao will be at the front of the queue again for 2011 I imagine.

Floyd fights once a year, when he needs to top up his bank balance. Manny was insane to walk out on a deal, only to agree to it 12 months later

 

ya people are ******ed. Ya really think PBF can hurt Pac? He couldnt even hurt Marquez, whom even though might have outboxed manny, manny had him seeing starts the 4 times he KO'd him. marquez took the standing 8 counts with pac and was dazed, as opposed to the flash KO PBF had over him. Manny has a punchers chance against PBF, and thats a hell of a good chance. A grandpa Mosely had PBF on ***** street and gassed out, Manny isnt gonna gas out

First thing, you have to respect that some of Pacquiao’s recovery from the Marquez loss is just being much better matched by Roach.

I’ve never seen Pacquiao ever struggle against guys who turn up to fight. Guys who come at him. He’ll out punch anyone. And that’s all he’s faced since Marquez.

He aint the same fighter against pure boxers. Guys with skills, tactics, movement, and brains. Guys who hit, run, counter, frustrate.

And until he gets in the ring with one again, I’m not buying into the fact that he even causes Floyd too many problems.


Anything can happen in the ring, but Mayweather's too skilled, too powerful, too accurate to be trouble by that sort of fighter.


The difference between a guy like Floyd and a guy like Cotto, is that Floyd seriously backs opponents up, every time they're even the slightest bit open.


The guy pulls the trigger, every time a fighter is a bit sloppy.


I'd imagine Manny would have a good 2-3 rounds, but Floyd will just land too much in return, and they'll be real punishing shots.



Get to round 6-7 Manny will have taken some punishment, and Floyd will be looking for the KO late in the fight.


Floyd's a smart guy.


He should be huge favourite for this fight. No one should be giving Manny a prayer.



He's just let the media hype the guy up, and suddenly it's a legacy fight.........

 

Mosely's a super accurate puncher.

Manny couldn't even land a power shot on Clottey

 

Marquez wasn't remotely hurt. He came back from every one strong.
He hurt Manny in that fight, more than Manny hurt him.

As for Floyd, he could have knocked the guy out easily. He had him on the floor with basically his first real shot he put his weight behind.

Floyd doesn't go looking for knock outs. He just punishes opponents. Slows them down. Breaks them down.

 

Grandpa Mosley is the hardest hitter in that Division,
Manny does have a Punchers chance but then again If Mosley couldnt do it with 1, who can?
Pac dosent hit as hard as Mosley. Mayweather rarely is hit with Combinations as you see mosley went off after hurting him twice but only could land the two.
But he still does get the Punchers chance from me aswell I just dont see mayweather being as careless to allow the hail mary to land
