I believe Wladimir beats Tyson by a late KO too. Mike is much faster than Frazier was also.

That's hard to say. The Heavys of today are much bigger than they were in the old days. There were exceptions like Primo Carnera & Jess Willard but fighters like Lennox & Wlad are much more fluid and less "goofy" in the ring. Both use/used their size well & both had/have ATG jabs. I don't think anyone can compare the jab of Jess Willard or Carnera to the jabs of Lewis or Klitschko. I'm fairly certain that Lewis & Klitschko had/have more powerful right hands than anything Primo or Jess had too.

Today's current crop of Heavyweights other than the Klitschkos are still big men. That doesn't mean they'd beat every old fighter but they'd enjoy significant reach advantages from the get go.

If it helps any I'd say Frazier would beat any Heavyweight of today with the exception of the Klitschkos, maybe Haye & possibly Valuev. Big Nick is just too big IMO and although he'd probably outpoint him, I can't see Joe KOing that giant. Haye is very fast & a bit too tall but he does have that paper maché chin :yep Who knows? I think Frazier would have a better chance of out pointing Vitali than Wladimir, and a better chance of KOing Wlad before I can see him KOing Vitali.

I've always considered Frazier to be a less lethal, less quick, less chin version of Tyson if that makes any sense...................

I think prime Tyson ko Wlad. Tyson only need is 1 big shot and boom down goes Wlad. Wlad vs Frazier would be interesting but i don't think Wlad would have ko Frazier. The reason Foreman did it cause he took a way risk by brawling with Frazier. Wlad won't brawl with Frazier. And btw Frazier would have ko Peter.

Buster Douglas, a fat unmotivated diabetic tall, strong dude whipped a prime Tyson. It's almost hilarious to read crap about how a 250lb. 6 foot 6 inch monster, named Wlad Klitschko, with ten times the boxing technique and skill and two-fisted power of a fat, diabetic Douglas would somehow manage ro lose to a half-crazed midget like Tyson. American fans must understand that even HBO has given up on your fighters, they are simply too embarrassed to show your Amerobums gettiing whooped by magnificent pugilists like Wlad Klitschko. Your era is over Yankee dog. Make way for the European wolves in the persona of Wlad and Vitali Klitschko, Boystov, Helenius and all the rest. They are the new big dogs on the block. Deal with it.

Douglas was motivated during the Tyson fight as the fight shows.

O.K. I agree. Douglas was magnificent on the night and won fair and square but he had no real dedication to the sweet science. Wlad does. He is a monster in training with a dedication to learn and improve which is unparalled, especially at the heavyweight division. Any foolish post about how he or his even tougher brother get wiped out in a round by some eighties American fighter makes me laugh but yeah Douglas was the man that night.

You've never seen Buster Douglas fight have you.

This overrating of Klitschko's skill is getting out of control. The guy is very one dimensional. He can't fight inside to save his life. He doesn't throw uppercuts, and when he does they are with terrible form, and he hasn't fought anybody.

On top of that he's been knocked down 11 times by journeymen and knocked out by nobodies.

Yet an all time great like Frazier who has the style to give Wlad serious trouble is unable to do so?

And for those of you who say superheavies are somehow unknockoutable, Louis had no problem knocking out Klitschko clone, Carnera.

If you watch them on film, they are almost indistinguishable. Klitschko's chin is no better than Carnera's, in fact Carnera was a bolder fighter than Klitschko, who's entire style is predicated around protecting his chin.

This is a sad time in boxing history when the so called best heavyweight of the time can't even beat his brother.

And for the record, I think Wlad does often look goofy in the ring. When he throws uppercuts, it's with such bad form it's embarassing considering his position in boxing.

Lennox throws them with skill. Vitali is also much more relaxed and confident in the ring than Wlad who is extremely overrated.

Again, the guy has been knocked out by bums.

The only thing different with his style is his arsenal is limited becuase his style is predicated by protecting his chin. This new and improved Wlad is a facade that is emphasized by the limitations of his opposition.

frazier is small enough to where wlad's jab would more than likely stop him in his tracks time and time again. not to mention straight, accurate punches were the recipe to give frazier a beatdown. i think wlad knocks him out in the mid-late rounds. just too big, too strong, and a bad stylistic matchup for frazier..
