Not sure I believe that. No way does it make enough to pay the fighters that. And if they did offer it, I doubt he'd turn it down, even in his current frame of mind.

I wouldn't think so either, but...with all the screwed up big fights right now, I'm not sure I know what would earn big. Mora is on a PPV, Margarito is fighting ****ing Pacquiao, Haye/Harrison looks like it will do really well...HAYE/HARRISON...Maybe they can get that much. Things are insane right now. We just had RJJ/Hopkins II as a PPV event, horrific as it was. They made some serious money. Both guys in their forties.

Mike's a good guy, didnt want to disrespect the sport he loves so much by getting the gloves back on. Bottom line is he fell out of love for the actual fighting and training way back in 1990. Max respect

Hard to believe this much money was offered. Maybe it being Don King doing the offering had something to do with Tyson not getting involved in it.

Is Holyfield still being promoted by Murad Muhammed?

If so then the offer is BS this guy like to throw big numbers at fighters but doesnt live up on it. He also threw Wlad a $20 million offer to fight Holyfield a few years back. Remember the Holyfield/Oquendo card, MM didnt/couldnt pay the guys on the undercard of that fight.

The only way I could undertsand turning that down is someone who already has millions and doesn't need it, or someone who is millions in debt, and if they make that money, it all gets taken away, so there's no point to all that hard work for no reward.

Good to see that Tyson no longer needs boxing to make money.

Maybe it was 35 milions of liberian dollars. Considering the paydays Holyfield gets lately, it would be more or less right amount ;-)

I'm offering any of your two guys in this thread $35,ooo,ooo to fight each other. There, I've got just as much pull in boxing as Murad Muhammad.
