I don't know much about the South African other than the fact he's undefeated. Anyone got some thoughts/insights into this one? I've always been a N'Dou fan - he's a real warrior that makes the most of any opportunity presented to him.
The kid is tall and a power punching southpaw from what i hear, and Lovemore has his work cut out for him. But i see his experience and ring smarts get him though this unless he gets robbed
I am giving serious thought to forking over $30 to put this on. N'Dou is always entertaining and it should be a war but I am sick of paying decent money for the half assed coverage you usually get on Main Event telecasts. Even the superfights are ridiculously dark and look like they are filmed by epileptics with the cameramen continually stumbling around and dropping their ****ing cameras. If the coverage of the big fights is shithouse can you imagine the production quality of low key event coming out of South Africa?
Looks like Lovemore won http://news.theage.com.au/breaking-...vemore-ndou-defends-title-20100919-15hi6.html
Good effort to go over there and get a win. I guess the local just wasnt experienced enough for ndou.
i wouldn't have paid it with somebody elses money. i nearly fell off my chair when i saw it was ppv fight. i won't pay for anymore ever again. they have been treating the public like fools with some of the prices and cards that have been shown.
He did. ....another report this time from SMH: http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-new...elterweight-will-punch-on-20100919-15hi6.html (on closer inspection they are the same bloody AAP report - oops!)
No doubt ndou keeping himself in great shape between fights has prolonged his career. Been a good fighter for a very long time and has shown he will fight anyone anywhere. He told me they expected cintron to knock him out, thats why they got him. Way too small for cintron who is abpussy anyway. Dibella told lovemore straight after the first malignaggi fight that he would try and get him another payday...he knew the ref screwed him in that fight. Been a great career for a guy who fell short of the top guys.
Agree 100%. He has never got the recognition he deserves but has fought some of the world's best all around the globe and has never ducked anyone unlike Australia's two current most high profile pugilists. I did not end up ordering Sunday's fight because of all the PPV dollars I will be shelling out come Nov and Dec (eg: Pac v Marg, JMM v Kats, Vic v Mares, Cotto v Cintron, B Hop v Pascal etc) but was very happy to hear he got up! Nice work Lovemore!
