If Mosley's fight with Mayweather is any indication of how he will approach Mosley, he is going to find himself in a bad situation and way behind on the scorecards. Mosley just didn't look comfortable trying to fight Mayweather from the outside. When he used feints, he looked jittery and nervous, and Mayweather had no trouble picking him apart. It's just too late in Mosley's career to change his style so drastically. And even if he does come in much better condition than his fight against Mayweather, he's the smaller man, and he's going against an opponent that managed to keep a too tenative Vernon Forrest on the outside long enough to win the first fight. And Vernon Forrest, even at that stage in his career, has the tools, the experience, and is accustomed to fighting that way, and looks far more comfortable in the ring. Not to mention the fact that he's taller and rangier that Mosley; therefore, much better equiped to fight considering his opposition. Granted, Forrest came back to win the second fight, as he was more aggressive, but again, he had the long jab and right hand to neutralize Mora's attack, and press the action enough to steal rounds. But if Mosley decides to box Mora at this stage in his career, he loses a wide decision. On the other hand, if Mosley chooses to bring the fight to Mora, he's never been hard to find with a good jab, and at 38 years old, his legs aren't what they used to be. In contrast, the much younger Mora is very mobile, and has enough experience under his belt to know that he needs to keep Mosley on the outside. So in order to press the fight, Mosley will have to chase Mora around the ring, and I don't think he's equiped to do that at this stage. And like I said, he's never hard to find with a jab. The only thing he has working for him is Mora's lack of punch, but at the same time Mora is used to fighting middleweights. And he's fought bigger men, if not as skilled, such as Manfredo that now fights at 168, and managed to show his physical strenght in a loss to Lacy. So to sum it up, Mora's size and boxing ability will cause to many problems for Mosley to win this fight, and Mora will win a decision, but only because he lacks a big punch. So in the end, Mora UD.
Its too bad Mosley never learned to take away a fighters jab with the lead right hook to the body.....
Looked like a robbery happened. Gonna check it in it's entirety in a few days to see for myself. From the looks and interviews of both men, it looked like a robbery just took place.
I dont know how Mora can think he won the fight - he was too busy trying to give Shane a hug to throw any punches. This is ****in sickening.
