Where next for Sam Sexton?

Well, he's a good fighter but I think he's found his level. It's hard to say after last night.

 

Yeah, I think Sexton is the next logical fight for Fury as well. I'd certainly like to see it. I'm more interested in what Warren does with Chisora next, though. There are some great pick 'em fights on the horizon.

 

I think Sexton could probably beat Fury, but it wouldn't be a pretty fight.

Sam could still be a test for some of the younger heavyweight prospects around.

The problem for Sexton is that he is a decent fighter but at championship level he doesn't have the stamina to do 12 rounds whilst throwing enough leather, and he doesn't really hit hard enough to stop decent opposition. Against guys who are above domestic level (which i now think Chisora may be, he looked good last night) he will always end up getting stopped late or losing a decision. He'll be a test for most guys but who wants to make a career out of being a test?

I reckon we will see Chisora fight for some International belt next. I don't see a fight with Fury happening.

 

chisora shocked me last night, i didn't think his fitness would last seen as how he looked knackered from the 4th but he has obviously done a real graft in the gym and its paid off. i see no reason why frank warren wouldn't step him up to European level now. i see him being more than enough to handle sprott an harrison levels. maybe even fighting a 10 ten ranked fighter like eddie chambers. sexton didn't look to bad either id like to see him fight price to see what price is made of.

 

is that your british HW top ten? sexton may have just been stopped but he should still be rated above everyone there apart from chisora, fury and haye/harrison. is dolan even a HW nowadays?
