Been guys with far less punch resistance than him, and far more shot, still stepping into the ring and getting licenced.

Its not a question and whether he can fight again, its a question of whether he will.

I feel he will give it another shot.

    Cheers!

Just read yours properly too, great minds, eh? Probably helps that we're both from Swansea - though I'm living in exile.

I say Swansea, just outside town. Clydach? Between Ynystawe and Ponty.

Yeah I know Clydach - infamous for the Clydach Murders in 1999.

Did you live anywhere near that street ?

Our claim to fame. The local pride beats in my chest.

Two streets away actually; that's Kelvin Road, we were round the corner on Grove Road.

The only good thing for Enzo and his health is he's rarely taken a sustained beating. He tends to get stretched out with a couple of punches. Still doesn't put him in a good place but its better than taking a career of punches like James Toney has and you can see the effects...

He's still a pretty decent fighter as he showed in this fight and against Afolabi but his chin is really just terrible. Not that his chin cost him on Saturday, his wild fighting and lack of defence did but in general he doesn't hold shots well.

He has no faith in his ability to take a punch either.

Hence loading up on every shot resulting in him falling in like he did no end of times Saturday.

There's nothing cute there anymore, he is a crude banger.

When Flint doesn't start a thread about him coming back in some sort of

You know it's probably time for him to call it a day.

    :yep

Maybe it is time for him to call it a day.

However foolish pride could see him carry on.

to the poster above - saying who are we to tell Enzo what to do ?

I dont think anyone is telling Enzo what to do - he will make his own decsion as his own man.

People are just expressing their feeling he should retire.

The same way people have been saying for the last 10 years that Evander Holyfield should retire.

Enzo can make his own decsion -and I feel he will fight on.

I agree, I dont think he is shot but as long as he doesnt need the cash he should get out now, as another back KO could lead to serious health problems.

Enzo seems to just want to please the fans witgh exciting KO's. That 1st punch would have knocked out any cruiserweight.

He has given us some great nights like the dominguez, hobson and Braithwaite fights and fought for the undisputed world cruiserweight title in a packed out O2 arena and gone over to russia to win the european title. He has given everything and in my eyes he can retire as a true warrior!
