We're rubbishing compubox in this article and then you use it as some 'evidence' defending your point. You're an utter ******. Actually thats harsh on ******s, they can read and infer some information, seems you cant though.
U CAN TAKE COMPUBOX FOR WHAT YOU WANT....BUT THE RATIO OF IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE....IT WAS ALMOST 2-1.. SHANE ALSO PRESSED THE ACTION MOST OF THE FIGHT WHICH MAKES ME BELIEVE HE CONTROLLED THE RING GENERALSHIP MOST OF THE FIGHT...MORA DIDN'T "BOX" SO MUCH AS HE "RAN"...MAYWEATHER AND WINKY PUT ON CLINICS OVER SHANE AND THE STATS SHOWS IT...MORA DID NOT AND THE STATS SHOW THAT AS WELL...MORA JUST RAN THE WHOLE NIGHT MINUS 3-5 ROUNDS MAYBE I BELIEVE SHANE TOOK AWAY MORA'S JAB AND WAS ABLE TO ACTUALLY "OUTJAB" MORA AS WE SAW IN THE FIGHT; STATS JUST BACK THIS SHANE ALSO LANDED THE HARDER PUNCHES IMO....IT SEEMED SERGIO WAS "SCARED" FOR ALOT OF THE FIGHT.. SO COUPLED WITH ALL THAT ...AND NOT JUST THE COMPUBOX STATS BUT THE FACT THAT THEY ARE VERY ONE SIDED... YUP SHANE WON THAT FIGHT..:deal
I had the fight 6 3 and 3, 117 114 Sugar Shane Mosley. But then again I am a fan, and probably paid a little too much attention to the commentators. The sad part of all of this is that Mora did absolutely NOTHING in this, the biggest fight of his career, and even though he ran away with a draw, he'll move up in someones rankings for it. SICKENING! I dunno what got into Mosley though, as he looked timid and afraid to challenge Mora. I get it that Mora had size on him, but Mosley never let that intimidate him before. I think the next fight for SSM(if he doesn't see fit to retire) is a rematch with Mora." I was afraid to hurt him." What a load of horse****. If you aint gonna let your hands throw a punch, don't let your hands sign a contract.:deal The compubox numbers looked legit to me, albeit alot of Mosley's shots were arm punches and rolloffs. But I give the fight to Mosley for effort alone.
How can you be more effective in a fight when you wont fight cuz you are too busy backpedaling and holding? Mora was scared to fight - it was his chance to rise to the occasion and shine in the spotlight, and his ***** got the best of him and decided to ***** out and hug all night.
you still dont get it do you? I dont particularly want to converse with you when you seen so oblivious and ignorant. We'd just go round in circles.
Cuz u know u'd get owned..i presented a perfectly valid argument and this is your rebuttal??:rofl:rofl:rofl
The problem was there were very few clean punches landed by either of them, so judging it by clean and effective punches is pretty hard, maybe it was one of those fights where mosley was less annoying then mora, mora was a bit of a snake in there, but i just cant see him doing enough to win it, mosley didnt really do that much either, just a bit more
BS. I disagree with HBO all of the time! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if you throw NO punches you can't win a fight. Mora gave 4-5 of the first rounds away off of inactivity. He could have EASILY won them by just using a jab! Mora looked crisper and fresher (when he threw). He also looked too chicken crap to take a chance and WIN the fight. No way in hell he won more than 4 rounds of that fight.
mosley won it clearly. another topic... anyone else notice how soft mosley looked? and no its not because he's at 154, he was at that weight before and never looked that bloated.
I'm a huge Mosley fan but Mora landed the cleaner, more eye catching shots for me. Mora won and that's all there is to it.
The only telling shots I saw from Mora were those little arm pushing uppercuts that Mosley ran into as he was muscling his way to the inside..... ....it was the same type of uppercut that Vernon Forrest put Shane on ***** street when they fought for the first time. That Forrest uppercut put Mosley on ***** street and had Mosley very close to being stopped, but that upperut also had leverage and weight behind it, something that Mora's did not. Those uppercuts tilted Mosley's head back, but had no real sting on them as they were pushed and not thrown with any snap or authority. I dont know where you get off that Mora landed the cleaner and more telling shots, when you can count those uppercuts Mosley ran into on one hand. The reality is that there were few real telling shots that were landed by either fighter, and in light of that, Mosley imo wins the fight on effort, aggression, and activity.
When you score your own fight... Try to ignore what the commentator says they will confuse u like ****... Anyway if u watch the replay the mute button is ur friend.
