I commented because you're hilarious. You made up a buncha ****. Mosley's look in this fight meant this, and it may have looked like that but it meant this. WTF is that ****? Then you quantify it with the Pac vs Cotto fight, to show Pac was frustrated so you "could" be frustrated while winning. LOL. This is all to rationalize the fact that Mosley sucked ass and looked obviously frustrated the whole fight, even the painful hesitation when prodded by Merchant was obvious.
Take a good read at the post you originally criticized, its right here below. Clearly I specify that what I'm saying is opinion and not fact. Let me break it down for you so you can learn how to write a post of substance, a post that is contributing to the thread........ I write down about Mosley having a dumbfounded look in his face and the reasons I feel why......then I go on to give clear examples in fights where he's had that same look being talked about........ ......then I take it further than to show the poster I was responding too that being frustrated does'nt always mean you're losing, I gave the Pac-Cotto fight as an example of that. The key is to read the post and take it in in comprehensive form without making judgement on the writer before finishing reading it....... When you write, you make a statement.....you give an opinion.......you follow it up with examples, and if possible, you can even parrallel it with a similar event or circumstance as I did to show in this circumstance with Pac-Cotto to prove that "a fighter showing frustration does'nt always mean its because he's losing." Take my response to you as a learning experience, or if what you really like to do is troll this thread seeking to ***** and put down others opinions, thats too bad for you as you'll never really learn anything about this great sport in which I'm in this forum to exchange thoughts with others about.
I had mora winning 10 and 11 and that is it. i guess it is what style you like. im not surprised that mosley looked like crap tbh, mora is one of those you look bad against. i wanna see him vs cotto at 154
Talking to me cabrĂ³n? (I think I'm gonna leave it on until someone makes a positive comment on it)
Watched the hbo version and had mosley just about squeaking it. Listening to the hbo guys you would have thought mosley was landing great shot after great shot, what a load of rubbish they are at times, i barely saw him land anything decent, but then again mora didnt do too much clean and effective shot making either, so mosley fell over the line for me, both looked pretty poor though but i still think shane has a good rematch with cotto in him, mora was difficult to track down, if mora was a bit more active and accurate he would have taken it imo
still havent watched this.. anyone have a link with where I can stream this online? have to watch it at work, no internet/tv as I've just moved house..
The numbers in this poll show that it was clearly subjective to who won and that the commentators influenced most of the viewers. The people who saw mora winning and were watching HBO and the people who saw mosley winning and saw it on the international telecast were probably fans of either boxer. Ill be honest, I saw mosley winning and was watching the fight on HBO.
No, I watched the international feed and that broadcast crew was almost as bad as the cheerleading bias at HBO. Its very apparent from the poll that indeed those who viewed this fight were heavily influenced by the commentating crew. Its at 2 to 1 on the poll that Mosley won if you saw the HBO broadcast that favored Mosley. Its at the same 2 to 1 on the poll that Mora won the fight if you viewed the Intenational broadast that called the fight for Mora. When I set this poll up, I fully expected to see the poll results show that indeed the commentating crew influences how even the fans in boxing forums like this that at least have some basic knowleadge of scoring a boxing match.......apparently as I thought and always knew, most of these fans need a commentating crew to let them in on who's winning, and the poll on this thread clearly is showing that. I think back at the Mosley-DLH rematch and remember how heavily influential that Bias HBO team was in the calling of the fight. ......in that fight, boxing forums like this reflected a sentiment that was 3 to 1 that DLH was robbed. Those who saw it live and in person without listening to a comentating crew were of 3 to 1 that Mosley had earned his UD verdict. No doubt about it, the commentating crew plays a big role and are biasly guided as to how they end up viewing the winner of a fight.
I saw the HBO which was very biased towards Mosley. I thought Shane out-hustled him anyway to be honest. Sure he looked sloppier than Sergio, and I'm more of a 'ring general' fan myself, but I thought he deserved many of the close rounds.
more people thought mosley won combined then thought mora, according to this poll. it is rare to see a fight that has such polarised scoring to it.
