Damn, Golota was really gettin' down. Looks like he may have gone down on his partner later that evening too.

I can honestly say Bowe-Golota 2 was the most exciting HW match I've ever seen and top five most exciting boxing matches in any weight division I have ever seen. It was the thrill of both Bowe-Golota fights (particularly the rematch) that forever turned us into full blown Golotaholics. We simply couldnt get enough of him after those fights, no matter how many times he let us down.

Golota's fight with Pouha was a great one as well.

Good to see Gołota in this light. Seems the crowd loves him, which is awesome. He had to take a lot of **** throughout his career. Good to see him this way.

True, apart from the Lewis fight I had not seen Golota in action before. From what I had read I thought he was just a meat head. However, after watching this fight I really appreciated his ability, if he hadn't ruined it, that would have been a magnificent, skillful performance and victory. :-( I only stumbled on the fight by accident and now it's a keeper in my collection.

Golota is fantastic on this! Some tap dancing potential too. Almost dropped poor Magda on her head at the end though, but he saved the day. Truly a wonderful seven minutes of joy and excitement for all Golota fans to see him so happy. In this state of mind, of relaxation and happiness instead of tension and pressure, Golota could beat the Klitschkos on the same night.

Golota was the pioneer. He was the first boxer from former eastern block that made a mess in a HW division, and it was when there were Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, and many more.

You should also see first bout between Bowe and Golota. Maybe not so exciting like the rematch but i think that was Golota's best fight. He was giving Bowe a boxing lesson. Great performance and then the low blows...:patsch I don't know, one of them might be a retaliation for Bowe's rabbit punch but other than that it was so stupid or just unintentional.:?

I don't know if Golota was really relaxed on this show. His partner said that before first show Andrew was very nervous and tense.

Many boxing fans who arn't especially familiar with Golota write him off as a talentless joke due to all his screw ups but the truth is when Golota was in his prime he was a hell of a fighter with fantastic skills. Excellent jab, cominations, fast, good foot work, powerful straight right hand and a solid chin. His prime was short lived though, he got into a deadly car crash in the late 90s which permanently ruined his left jab and skill wise he was never the same. And of course he was a mental midget at the height of his phsyical prime, that was his biggest downfall. As he aged he finally started to mature mentally but his skills deminished very badly. Compare how Golota did against Byrd and Ruiz in 2004 to how he did against Adamek in 2009.

Golota handled it fine. Very cool with sense of humor. If Golota can sing a lick he has potential to be a pop star. that could be his signature hit, a cover of Elton John's "Im still standing." Polish fans would fill up the Garden and Pru Center to hear him sing some songs and dance like that. He could also sing a bunch of covers like "My Way", "Saturday's All Right For Fighting","Blue Suede Shoes", Rod Stewart's "Forever Young" maybe do a duet with Riddick Bowe, "Ebony and Ivory"

Still have no idea why Golota fouled out against Bowe in that first fight. In the rematch Golota was fighting with a busted jaw and ruptured ear drum so I think he just couldnt think clearly in that 9th round and went low again but in the first fight Golota was in complete control, giving Bowe a beating but like a jackass he couldnt keep his punches up. It was so bizarre to see him winning the biggest fight of his life and then throw it all away for no reason. Strange guy he was.

Golota was pissed that the ref let Bowe rabbit punch etc. You don't want to foul against Golota. Who cares if he didn't get a "W". He kicked some ass.

After watching that video of Golota, he should continue to stay lean and dance. I haven't seen him move like that in a long time.

Golota threw a **** load of low blows in the first Bowe fight and many of them wern't even called out by the ref. The ref did everything he could to keep the fight going but Golota's low blows were just too much and way too obvious. He just couldnt handle the pressure, was still very mentally immature at that time and mentally off balance...
