Look for some advice from any wise experienced swingers

After a few too many jars I had a disagreement with a mate about 3 months ago now. Ended up coming to blows and I threw one of the sweetest right hooks I ever will. The guy's fine and we've kissed and made up since but.... although I made clean contact when I hit him, one of my fingers (between index and pinky) has built up some sort of bulge on the top bend. Doesn't hurt any unless I'm putting pressure on it but can't bend it as far as the others...

thought it would resolve itself but that's 3 months now... any ideas?

    cheers

Is it hard to move it, bend the finger.

a bit harder to move than my other fingers but not painful unless I'm doing it repeatedly. Clicks a bit as well. I can bend it inwards although not as far as my other fingers but there is absolutely no give trying to bend it backwards

Personally I would get a proper medical opinion (which thanks to the wonders of the NHS is free is a little time consuming). If you have a doctor you could see them. If, like me, you haven't signed up with a doctor, get online and find your nearest Minor Injuries Unit (at least one of the hospitals in Glasgow will have one). These are drop in centres staffed by experienced nurses. I got a nasty lump on the side of my leg playing football earlier this year, thought it would just go away, it didn't, went to a MIU and they sorted it right out. No complaints about the service at all.

    Hope you get better soon

    Cheers
