Just tell them that its unfair that they can hide behind stupid claims like "'We cannot allow for mistakes, nor accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in respect of the announcing, publishing, or marking of prices, runners, times or result, despite every effort to ensure their accuracy. Paddy Power reserves the right to correct any obvious errors" I have asked them if they can ammend the terms and conditions to include this “As a punter, I will sometimes make hasty bets where I have thought with my heart and not my head, therefore in any such case I am not liable for this mistake and will therefore be entitled to my original stake”
The 1/3 on offer is not good enough. Surely Paddy Power can at least match the next best price, which is 8/13 with Boylesports, as by the time the stake gets put back into my account, the event betted on would've passed. cheers, Unfortunately the bet in question will only be settled at the correct price of 1/3 and we will not be matching any price from another bookmaker. what pissed me off about the email as well is that there was no way you could tell who it was from. Mine just said from Kev and there was nothing in the subject line. I thought it was spam. Good job I opened it.
What is funny here is Bellew is getting taken the distance here, if he isn't stopped himself by some means.
This is fairly typical PP - I remember when Shane Lowry won last year's Irish Open, a couple of his mates had placed bets with Paddy before the tournament began at obviously massive odds. When their bet came in, PP offered them a fraction of what they were due, and I don't think they got anywhere when they complained either. It's just a rip-off operation. I opened an account with them earlier this year - took the new customer bonus and £100 off them. And that's the last they'll ever see of me. Good TV ads, though.
G Twigg to score in 90 minutes and Shamrock Rovers to win against Galway at Evens. Or Shamrock - 1 at 10/11 Double it up with a Bellew stoppage
Got the email from 'Kev' last night and then received one reply basically saying the same thing but haven't had anything else since.
Punch Have you seen the odds for the Steelers @ Bucs? Steelers out right are 4/6 and @-2.5 are 20/23 The Bucs 2-0 start is a myth for me, this could be part of the class coming through
Any thoughts on Rafa Marquez at 3/1 vs JuanMa? (11/4 with more reputable bookies). Sportingbet are the only ones to have priced up the 'Method of Victory' market. Rafa is 7/2 for the stoppage. I suspect it'll be a better price as and when others price it up.
mate the bucs have beat 2 poor teams but to be fair to them they did well last week pittsburg have done superb without ben as most people expected them to be 1-3 at best wen he returned in week5 however they beat 2 decent sides in atalata and ur team who were fukin awful last week imo Charlie Batch is expected to start for the steelers. For those that don't know, batch is fully capable of putting up points.. He knows the steelers offense well. The steelers are a pound the football team so he's not gonna have to do a whole lot throwing the ball. I expect the steelers defense to put up points and i'm not even sure the tampa bay bucs will score any points in this game. The steelers forced 7 turnovers on the titans last week and that was the titans and this is the bucs we're talking about. Add to that he steelers defense held the falcons to only 6 points in week 1 and the falcons put up 40+ in week 2..
I agree, could be worth a few quid. Just remembered that one of the Bucs decent players has been suspended for the year so I think this is a banker
Just got another reply from them, which was exactly the same, word for word, as the last one. Wankers.
I've got Marquez in this one, by stoppage. I just think he's too sound fundamentally for Lopez, who'll be walking onto powerful lead rights from the first bell.
