I dont have much time for Warren for his spurned girlfriend antics but the facts remain he is correct in my eyes. Whats the point in fining Ricky a paltry amount and taking his license away when he said he wasnt going to box again and only got his license just incase? He's promoters license should be revoked as well at least for a period of time as punishment. This isnt even a slap on the wrist. Its a waste of everyones time and just proves that once you're a star you can get away with what you want.

i think he lost his management licence as well - that was in todays Manchester Evening News so not sure how accurate that is. i assume this leaves quigg and his brother managerless?

They took away his manager/cornerman's license that's enough I think.
Do you believe he shouldn't be able to promote events because he's done coke?

Yes. This sends a sign to youths and adults alike that drugs are a complete no no and have significant penaltys. Hatton wants to be a role model. Act like one.

Fair enough Scurla you've taken a hard line and your standing by it.

Of course Sugar Shane should have copped a ban for admitting to steroid abuse..:think

Iv got no time for drug users especially class A. Thats just not my bag.

And regarding Shane it wasnt steroids it was alledged to be EPO. Either way unless he was empiracally proven to be on illegal substances then anything other than that is just speculation and conjecture. An admission that he didnt know what he was taking and that it may have been EPO is not empiracal proof.

I'm sure Warren is worried about Hatton, after all he hasn't got any thing to gain with Hatton Promotions folding has he.

I very much doubt Warren is worried about Hatton Promotions at all. They're less than small fry compared with Warren.

What about the people working for him? Should they suffer for his foolishness?

I doubt it. Hatton doesnt have the capital, the experience, or the promotional clout that Warren does. As much as i cant stand Warren facts is he gets the best purses for his fighters.

Where was the action against a promoter who ran a business which failed to pay Joe Calzaghe the money a court ordered him to?

Nothing happened. He just went on and continued promoting with another company.
