Michael Alexander is a ****ing **** referee, his scorecards are generally shocking, and he was desperate to jump in and wave it off as the lad went down.

It seems the minute an ''away'' fighter gets dropped or wobbled the fight is stopped....... I'm not suggesting anything untoward is going on but it just pisses you off.

There needs to be some consistency in timing the stoppages, two iffy ones tonight, a few iffy ones last week topped off with the Enzo shocker..... the only good stoppage recently was John Keane in the Chisora vs Sexton fight.

 

Not making excuses. You said Peterson was world class, I just pointed out that he hasn't proved it. His first step up was against Rios and he got smashed.

I think Rios beats Murray btw and so does Ortiz probably but Murray can make it tough for him and we now know Victor has heart issues.

BTW - Murray isnt a bad fighter at all. I just think Rios and Ortiz are better. If John can prove me wrong, then more power to him. Both matchups would be exciting, thats why I'm hoping Ortiz-Murray gets made. I will say that Murray at least is in his prime, not like Campbell and Harris who were both shot to ****.

I posted ages ago that I think Murray could beat Peterson. The Peterson brothers have nice skills but have never looked anything but ordinary.

 

Murray will struggle badly with anyone who can keep him consistantly on the back foot, he is a bit of a one trick pony with little movement outside of coming forward and retiring in straight lines
