great super featherweight action next saturday, promoted by hatton.

can foster jr hang in there with EBU champ kirakosyan? i hope it goes a few rounds as these 2 should match up well. foster was able to back up and rock a much bigger alex arthur. kirakosyan has been smashing up johanesson & lawton.

also, andy morris v anthony crolla. both had great fights vs gary sykes. will they have a great fight vs each other? will the winner fight sykes for the british or kirajosyan-foster winner for EBU??

Fosters getting smashed in 4. Hattons are terrible match makers.

Will be intresting to see if Crolla can do the business. Seems like a great guy who loves the sport.

he really seems to have improved, crolla. loved the angles he showed vs brodie (albeit an old brodie).

maybe the hattons know something we don't re foster and kirakosyan. was lawton even supposed to beat derry mathews? perhaps they just used lawton for a title fight TV date.

a lot of ppl do think foster jr will fold in this one.

thats my issue with Hatton. they put there guys in fights to get TV dates instead of bring them along. Foster would have a good shot at beating any domestic level super feather....so why send his to the slaughter agaisnt LK

    good point, RP.

i just have a feeling that foster jr might not fold as quickly as johanesson, could at the very least put up a great fight.

would be really interesting to see both guys foster and crolla, go from being nearly men to becoming champions. obviously crolla has to beat morris before getting a title shot.

I think stephen can outbox the champion, stephen is a very underestimated fighter and concentration will be the key.all the best to him!

    Co-Signed...:good

He must fight his own fight and not get drawn in to a slugfest with Leva...:deal

I could see Foster Jr. beating Kirakosyan to the punch for few rounds, but then as a GZA album intro once said "thats when everything changed"! I just don't think he has enough substance in his work to discourage Kirakosyan.

I'm really looking forward to Crolla vs. Morris. I might go out on a limb and pick Crolla in that one. He's really come on.

I see your point Rob but Foster's career has just been floundering for a while so why not take a chance and I think we saw the best of him when he was thrown in against Arthur.

Lawton got slaughtered but that was surely too good a chance to turn down and you never know what might happen. Matt Hatton and Macklin were able to win the belt when they got the chance

Why is this? Cos hes done nothing in the ring to suggest so. What have we missed? What result/performance means Foster jnr will beat Leva break it down for us brother. Could we not just have guesses please

it does seem like boxing ppl and gym ppl have seen something in foster. i get the impression that he's going to adopt a different style than we've seen from him.

anthony crolla is also boxing differently. before he was more of a body puncher/pressure fighter, but that loss to sykes may have made him really reassess. the glimpses i've seen of him, he's looking slicker, using more angles, using more variety and adopting a more in and out style.

if both guys can change and win important fights, all the best to them. i am definitely picking crolla to beat morris. because foster's been so under the radar since arthur i don't really know what he's been up to, or what to expect from him.

cannot wait for this card. really up for it.
