Cuevas early, or Brown late as I see it.

I don't see how Cuevas can lose.

Would be a great fight. Brown could pull it off, he has enough power to knock Cuevas out if he can last into the late going, but I'd make Pipino a slight favourite for a mid rounds stoppage after a (goes without saying it) war.

This was actually done before. I called Brown to win then, and I'm calling Brown to win now. Better skills, shorter punches, just about as much power.

Not sure whom I'd favor but Brown could certainly be price and compact, as opposed to swinging as wide as a barn door as Cuevas loved to do. Hmm.

Simon brown had a pretty good chin when he was young and fighting at welter. He could hit hard too and threw tight short range punches. Pipino Cuevas was tough as nails but also very hittable. I don’t have a problem with people favoring Cuevas but I find it odd that many are writing it off as an easy foregone conclusion.

I would expect Brown to stop him.

15 rounds is too long for Simon to avoid Pipino

A heroic effort by Brown finally ending with a titanic Cuevas uppercut followed by a left hook bomb that nearly takes Brown's head off in round 11 by Cuevas.
