socialite class? not even remotely true. they are from a relatively poor provincial background. my father comes from a family of lawyers though. my mother's parents were teachers and two of her sisters are nurses and a brother doctor in the states. mother attended some small college.

 

my father was pre-law until his 3rd/4th year. martial law came about and he graduated with a general degree (?) after switching courses. after that, he tells me, you were not allowed to do what he and his classmates did.

he was well on his way to be a lawyer, though.

 

you're joking about coverage right? when the internet exists like it is? and they play US NCAA on at least one channel (though it's never a game i want to watch).

you shouldn't generalize. i know many more FEU students who don't care about us in the finals way than i know filipino floyd fans.
