Khan should quit worrying about Murray. Let him fight another 10 old Russians with 15 losses.

why would murray do this for a payday if he wins world title at light weight this is something kon failed to do so how can he not give him the fight a little later. the fight will sell in england and if murray won a title at lightweight he would get recognition in america therefore sell in the states, as well i cant understand the rush why kon wants murray to fight ortiz so badly he as his own fight to think of

I wonder if this will turn into Hatton and Witter. It is true that Khan is a level above and the Murray fight is a joke now but it wasn't not long ago. The fight didn't happen.

Now Murray has to do what Witter did and become a champion. I just hope by that stage Khan doesn't pull a Hatton and avoid the fight again.

how is khan saying it how it is?

khan is basically taking orders from GBP, trying to stir up interest in murray-ortiz, which GBP want, only because their paymasters HBO seem to be fed up of ortiz vs old men.

murray's already earned an elim for the WBC belt, that got put off as the opponent got beaten a couple of weeks ago. he wants to do it as a lightweight.

khan is a puppet for GBP who's also trying to detract from murray's achievements on the domestic and euro scenes. the route murray is taking is one all brits good enough to go up the levels take (see rendall munroe) if you're not an olympian, world amateur star or a household name of some other sort.

Murray should forget Khan for the time being and focus on getting a belt at lightweight, the way LWW is stacked at the moment he could get chewed up and spat out up there.

Yep, Khan has a right to talk **** after all the **** that Murray was talking but **** it, he don't need Murray, he would beat the **** out of Murray, and he doesn't need to stoop to that level and talk **** all the time. Murray came across as the ******* but if Khan carries on talking, he might come across that way too. Let the haters hate, if they truly believe Murray would beat Khan they're deluded ayway.

This fight would have been good in 2008. Khan was undefeated and commonwealth champion at lightweight and Murray just won the british title i believe? Khan was flawed enough at that time to make the fight very interesting and competitive with Murray being flawed himself... it would end up like Khan VS Gomez but just a younger, bigger version of Gomez. HOWEVER now Murray wouldnt be big enough, he'd have pressure but it wouldnt be educated enough for a now more intelligent-in-ring craft Khan. Unless Murray happens to show hes very dominant at lightweight world level i dont see the point... I hope Murray dont take on Ortiz it would be embarassing i fear, he should keep moving up as a lightweight, take on someone in the top 5.

VASQUEZ. the IBF 135 Champion, a good call i believe for Murray if it can be made... Plus he can then claim he 'beat the man who beat the man who beat Khan' (Vasquez gave Prescott a schooling 99-91 in 2009)

Good talk, John Murray should step up his level of competition.
