Despite the Calzaghe-Woods rumors, I believe we will see Hopkins-Calzaghe in 2008. I like Calzaghe by UD. What is your take on this fight Robbi?

If he turns that down then he can't talk **** anymore because that is more money than he has ever made in any other fight.

Yet somehow, some idiot Calzaghe fan (which I actually am...just not as ridiculously biased as some of them on here), will twist this into Bernard pricing himself out of it.

    taken from bbc.com

Undisputed super-middleweight champion Calzaghe, 35, targeted American legend Hopkins following his victory over Dane Kessler earlier this month.
Warren apparently opened talks with Hopkins' representatives, Golden Boy Promotions, over a possible match in New York in the spring.

But Hopkins, a notoriously tough negotiator, has been told by his trainer to forget about a fight with Calzaghe

    Bernard looses this fight.

If Taylor can give BHOP problems, then Calzaghes speed and workrate definately can.

This is a fight I'd like to see. Its just really too bad that Hopkins has looked boring lately. Its really too bad, I've always liked to watch him fight.

Comparing taylor and joe is stupid. Styles make fights obviously you don't know that comparing them like that. Joe is a southpaw for crying out loud.

Considering Morgan Palle made a 10 million offer for Calzaghe in Denmark without the stipulations regarding Warren then Bernard is pricing himself out of the market.

sounds legit, I'm interested to hear Warren's rebuttal or POSSIBLY, acceptance... I wonder if maybe GBP offered too much too early and now Warren will try to milk them for more? If Warren DOESN'T i will be surprised, if he completely prevents this fight from coming off, I will be PISSED

    Trainer?

Hopkins IS Hopkins trainer, has been his own principle trainer since he parted ways with Fisher (also has worked with Roach, Shilstone, etc....but never have they been his MAIN trainer)....that article is bull****.

If your a reporter, shouldnt you do some research first?
