The punch threw him off balance and left him open. Well played Roop

Well Anarci's boy Valencia is up next.

Feel bad for him, because I think Torres is really going to dominate.

I admit though, I am a huge fan of Torres, and had the chance to look in on his new academy in Hammond. Indiana represent :D

That reach disadvantage against Torres jab could make this ugly for Valencia

Interesting Muay Thai stance from Torres.

Hopefully he opens up more in the second round.

Whoa, he opened up at the end of the first.

Yeah that stance. He been training in Notre Dame?
Good movement by Valencia, but Torres finally caught up

God I love watching Torres fight, he makes grappling look so easy, just passed the guard like it wasn't even there.

**** YES, TORRES IS BACK TO HIS WINNING WAYS!

Beautiful fight by Torres. Sick pass to get to side mount and then took his back, flipped him and worked the choke position...good, good stuff!

I think training at Tri-Star to improve his wrestling is a great idea, although he still doesn't seem to want to use takedowns.

I really didn't like his move to Dellagrotte, and I think it hurt him, so this is a great move both because Tri-Star is a great overall gym with wrestling specialty, and (hopefully) it keeps him away from Dellagrotte.

Wrestling coaching will really round off his formidable skills
Why you think Delagrotte hurt his style Beebs?

Probably using it mainly for counter-wrestling rather then going all out on takedowns...maybe we'll get to see him use it more in a fight against a guy who isn't so stocky.

It just didn't work for him, nothing against Delagrotte himself, he has trained some good fighters, but watching his fights pre and post his training with him, he just looked like he was a much worse striker. Maybe it was trying to get him into more a kicking fighter, I don't know, but it just didn't look right, tonight looked right.
