Too many to mention, the first few that came to mind were.....

    Foreman-Liston
    Frazier-Marciano
    Naz-Pacquiao
    Naz-Morales
    Chavez-Pryor
    Chavez-Arguello
    Whitaker-Mayweather (for the purests)
    Tyson-Louis
    Robinson-Leonard/Hearns/Hagler/Duran
    Pep-Sanchez (again for the purests)

Yep, those are the ones that would settle many, many debates.

Pep-Armstrong is the ultimate clash of styles IMO, best ever swarmer vs best ever pure boxer.

I'd have killed to see Duran/Pryor. The skill and toughness that would be on display would-hold up, I have a massive erection, no homo. I'll be back later.

Morales would give Sanchez more problems than Marquez, better chin, longer reach, more power... can mix it up better too... JMM at his best is primarily a counter-puncher & Sanchez is a better counter-puncher, that spells long night for Marquez.

I think that Greb-Robinson at 160 would answer the question who was the best fighter p4p ever. But I don't know if would it be good fight to watch. Greb could be crude and raw and we all saw gallant Ray.

    Frazier-Marciano would be ultimate brawl

    Liston-Foreman would be ultimate slugfest

    Dempsey-Tyson would be amazing

    Duran-Chavez at 135

Ezzard Charles-Roy Jones Jr at 175

Ali-Johnson would be greatest ego fight ever

In my opinion, some of these best of the best matchups would not really make for great fights. Ali vs Louis for example i see being a very boring ugly, clear dec win for Ali. With Louis being tied up in the clinch or held off with the jab most of the fight. If it doesnt playout like this i still dont think the styles mesh very well.

Whitaker vs Mayweather an even worse one. Would be interesting to see who wins, i find it very hard to picture that one playing out. Maybe both men are given standing ten counts for not actually throwing any punches in a round or two of this fight.

It would probably be a great fight, actually, similar to Conn/Louis which people loved. there would certainly be a great exchange of lefts. Ali's footwork would give Louis trouble. Louis' ability to parry and counter over a jab consistently would give Ali his own trouble, like it did against Norton. It would be a pretty sweet fight.

Nah, it wouldn´t look anything like that. Conn stayed in the trenches with Louis many times in this fight and actually fought Louis. Ali wouldn´t do so, he would either move or clinch. I don´t think it would be a prarticular good fight.

I think that depends on which ali shows up to play. I can see some exchanges taking place here and there, I don't think Ali would "Calderon" away from Louis the entire fight. And if he did, I think Louis would eventually catch and kill him. You don't think Ali would use his hit and away rhythm?

That´s exactly what I expect him to do, stick and move, try to stay away from Louis and avoid his counters. He would be much more cuatious than Conn though. Conn stayed in there with Louis which led to him getting KOed in the end. Ali won´t do so and this would make the fight more dull. I agree with you that Louis would get Ali in the end while beeing behind on the cards.

JOE LOUIS - MUHAMMAD ALI: I pick Louis based on Ali not being able to stick and move forever.

ROBERTO DURAN - SUGAR RAY ROBINSON: Robinson will be in with a fimilar sized fighter, but one with a highly developed since of defense and punching ability. He wins, but it will be the fight of his welterweight life.
