How about Cloud? I'm suprised nobody has mentioned him. Of the established names, does nobody else think that Malignaggi, Martinez, Mosley, B-Hop and JMM will have a good 2010 either?:think

Frankie Gavin and George Groves domestically.

Hopefully Kell Brook, Nathan Cleverly, Mathew Macklin, Rendal Munroe, Ryan Rhodes and Kevin Mitchell will gwt to fight for world titles too.

I'll also be interested to see where Tavoris Cloud, Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto, Edwin Valero and Tomaz Adamek go in 2010 Interenationally.

The obvious ones would be Haye, Pacquiao and Mayweather.... it will be make or break for all of these big names for sure!

If Malignaggi doesn't fight Pacquiao and instead fights Khan then I reckon he'll have a good year. If he fights Pacquiao I think he actually gets killed which would be terrible, and not a good year for him. I think Mosley might end up losing to Berto and where does he go from there? And it depends what weight JMM fights at for me.

Like ishy said hopefully Roman Gonzalez. If he can't get a unification at minimumweight he should move up to light flyweight.

The two Cubans Gamboa and Rigondeaux should have good years I think.

Also I think JMM comes back strong. Hopefully he comes back at 135 because we know he can hang there and he has the beating of all of the guys there imo. Or maybe he could come back at 140 instead, but only if the weight suits him, as the division seems to be heating up.

I can see Marquez going the other way unfortunately. He's getting on, and although that isn't the end of the world for a technician I don't think the beating he took off Mayweather and fleshing himself out for 147 and then going back down will do him too much good. He might not be quite as sharp as he was when he does get back down there.

I also think he's probably got tough fights ahead of him. I think Roach still wants a rematch up in weight, and there are other fights at 140 that are probably more interesting than 135lbs and they are all very tough fighters.

I like McAllister, if only for his ring walk music.

I'll be honest I'm being optimistic about him and it did cross my mind that the Mayweather fight and going up in weight may have a bad effect on him. But regardless I still think he will be more than a handful for anyone at 140 and 135 and I think he should be able beat a few of them if not all.

He needs to avoid a 3rd Pacquiao fight at a higher weight, he can't handle it. If they do try to finish the trilogy, JMM should try and get it at as low a weight as possible. Of course that won't happen though.

    Almost prophetical there LHL.

My Joyi shout looked alright, had the biggest win in the Minimumweight division by dominating Raul Garcia.

But Ishy shout for Concepcion was good, was that Kaovichit not a bit passed it now. I'm pretty sure he was crap last time out, since losing to Daiki Kameda?

His loss to Kameda was competitive and then he won a 12 rounder pretty wide on the cards. Have not seen that fight though.

Looking at the scene near enough a year on, this was a very good post.

Got one belt right. Come on, Groves, get the British in before 2011!

    Good pick, Ish.

With Rigondeaux finally sorting his managerial problems and unfortunate stint outside of the ring out, I think he'll get a title pretty soon and everyone who predicted as much in this thread shall be able to sit back and admire their Nostradamus-like abilities.

KO1 is still something though, Kaovichit is a durable sort.
