Paddymickey and myself pondered this a few weeks ago. Not sure what anybody else on here thinks. Some good boxers at 135 knocking about as well
Speaking of Lightweigh - Is Andy Murray ready for the likes of Kevin Mitchell next? Or 1 of the top 3 in Europe?
I wasnt thinking that myself. I got two texts in the space of a minute as Fanny Boy rang out, both read "WTF"
FFS, what I have been saying from the start that as European champion there is nothing strange or unjust about that champ getting a world title chance. This has always been the case, many a European champ went straight to the world stage. Khan did not deserve a crack at the world title, as he hadnt won any meaningful titles at lightweight, nor had he ever fought at lightwelter. Thats my argument, thats my logic which has been backed up by boxing history. If you cant understand that, then thats fine, but Im not ****ing drawing you a diagram, get it:nut Beer time, see you later:hi:
from tomorrow we will have one of the irish fighters at the Dehli Games do a daily diary for us which will be posted on Boxing-Ireland.com guess who! :good
Wondered why that was sung...your man couldnt even sing in tune! The original tune (Aisleann an Oigfear) was written by someone from round Dungiven (the blind harper Rory Dall O'Cathain) in the early 17th century, the cheesy lyrics were added a couple of hundred years later (1840s i think) by an english solicitor. I think theres some people in the North that want to make Danny Boy a sort of non offensive N Ireland anthem, though I'd doubt if McCloskey is one of them!
How does everyone here see Cordoba V Rigondeaux going? I think its too soon for Rigo and Cordoba will UD him.
