i never said lennox lewis was a poor man's douglas as a WHOLE. as a fighter, of course lennox lewis was better. but for technical ability, douglas was easily better. yall don't realize how good he was (for a HW) in that department

Agree, Wlad is like a kid who finds that one special move on a computer game, but because its so hard to combat he just keeps using the same move over and over.

That would be more biggest criticism of Wlad, and I know it sounds harsh, but I dont question Wlad's chin as much as I do his heart, I think he lacks heart I really do, he gives out distress signals when he is hurt/tired, there are times when has lost fights where he has fallen about the ring making it look as though he has nothing left, or looking at the ref with those puppy dog eyes as if to say im done"

Everytime I read these posts I will respond with:

Explain how you consider a fighter who trains for 2 weeks for a fight at 5000ft as 'at the height of his power'.

That Lewis was the worst Lewis period. The 91' Lewis who beat Mason would have beaten THAT Lewis ffs.

speaking of ike, he was pretty similar to lennox lewis. but steadier, more consistent, more well-rounded and more athletic.

IMO Morrison had more dimensions in his game too..

    And probably did Golota.

Lewis knocked Bowe out in the amateurs, but Bowe became a good boxer after Futch trained him.

Lewis is considered skilled because he boxes, uses jab, etc., like Klitschkos do.

Lewis was a skilled fighter,he could also look bad sometimes against fighters he should have taken care of pretty easy.I would have backed Bowe in 92/93 to win a close fight but anything after that Lewis wins.

The TS is the same poster who made a list of "technically proficient, skilled" heavyweights that included Joe Frazier but not Jerry Quarry. Think about that for a minute before you respond to the turd.
