How does he get on? This is the Lewis from the Mason, Biggs, Ruddock etc fights against this prime version of Wlad and past-prime, but still dominant, version of Vitali. Does either brother trouble him? Does he go 2-0 or does he lose one? Which is the harder fight for that version of Lennox? The unpolished right hand happy Lewis would have some problems. He would go after both and would probably KO Wlad. You would favour Vitali more in such exchanges and could very well have knocked out Lewis. Hes durable and a good counter puncher. Lets not forget a certain McCall bested him back then. 1-1
Two dull fights??? What a load of tosh. The last Lewis Vitali fight was a classic, this mythical match would involve an even more attack minded Lewis. Also Lewis would try and bomb out Wlad to victory. I cant understand why anyone would post what you just did...its absurd
Basically because I think a Lewis of that era would have been able to beat both without taking risks...so he wouldn't. I completely accept that it could go totally the other way, but I'm merely opining that he would just pick both apart and not get involved and anything too risky.
Lewis was still a little green at that point. He'd beat the current Vitali who is nearing the end but have problems with Wlad. If pushed I'd go with Lewis winning both fights.
Lewis wins big and early in both. The current Vitali would probably lose to Lennox on his pro debut, it's just a bunch of scared contenders that seem to believe he's still as good as he used to be..... which wasn't that good in the first place. Wlad might hurt Lewis badly but I still see him giving in at some stage, Lewis' superior handspeed wins the day here.
Lewis 2-0 Old Vitali wouldn't give him any problems, and he'd win v easily, but probably on pts. Wlad would give him major problems i think, but i'd expect lewis to eventually find that chin, and then it's good night.
He beats Vitali. This version of Wlad causes that Lennox a lot of problems though. Remember Frank had success when he jabbed with him not long after the Razor fight. That Lennox wasn't tactically astute yet. Lennox either KO's him with Wlad ahead or Wlad wins a decision.
Vitali looks like muck today. He's absolute crap, against any half decent heavy from back in the day with a bit of skill, size and athleticism he'd be beaten with comfort. Wladimir would be trickier because he's a far superior fighter. But you do have to favour Lewis to land something and end it. He wouldn't be fighting a guy 6 foot that he can dance around all night this time.
