Morales and barrera sitting next to each other on boxing show

Nice to see them get past their long-standing animosity. Great interview.

This is not far off from how Vazquez-Marquez IV went down (except substitute the weight bugaboo with the scar tissue). :yep

 

I cant see the video right now but i´m assuming this is the same video from the mexican boxing show "golpe a golpe" that was posted months ago where Marco gives Morales a lot of credit as a fighter and how good he was but some time after this the Ring had an article with Morales about the best fighters he ever fought in several categories and Morales being the bitter ***** that he is never mentions Barrera in any of them.

 

MAB said he'd like to leave it where its at and not have a fourth fight mar a great trilogy......

Morales I sensed would welcome a fourth battle, but both agreed that the weight would be a factor......Morales wanting it at 140 lbs, MAB saying that even that he looks a little pudgy even at 135 lbs.....


What I sensed from both speaking is that Morales was trying hard to be amicable and not go the hate route, but he was straining to do so.......
Morales just does'nt like MAB and it showed in the video.


One of the questions from the host to Morales was how was MAB able to be so effective fighting in mini spurts and get inside his guard........Morales in discussing their first fight said, I was fighting 3 minutes of every round, while MAB looked good in closing the rounds, but he was only fighting and exherting energy for the last 10 to 15 seconds.......
.....MAB then suggested that the judges tend to remember more how you close a round.....
......to which Morales said, in the case of our first fight, the judges actually did their job correctly by taking into account the whole round and the work he was putting in during it.

Morales did concede that because he was working extremely hard for the 3 minutes of every round, he was tiring to close the rounds, and that made it difficult to get MAB off of him when MAB put those bursts of energy to close them.

They should've invited DLH, Marquez, David Diaz, Lucero, Velasquez, Solis & Larios and each one could have shared their experiences with Pac. This should be a lot of fun!

Maybe when Pac retires they can make this Pac tribute show!!
