Tickets for th events don't go on sale til next year, as far as I'm aware. I've put my name down for boxing, the opening ceremony, athletics, women's beach volleyball :hey, diving, football and some other crap I can't remember.

 

I did this about 6 months ago

Hopefully I'll be living in London in 2 years time...

 

You will still be able to buy tickets for most of the events during the games at various ticket booths outside the stadiums - at least that was the case for the 2000 games

 

When have you ever needed tickets for road cycling before? It's literally just turn up along the route isn't it usually? I guess they have to make money somehow.

But yeah I signed up a while back, mainly just for stuff like the football, boxing and basketball finals. Most of the early round events you'll just be able to buy on the day I bet, it's not like they will fill 5000 seats or whatever at that stage. I'll try and head along to the early stages of the boxing when you get like 25 or 30 fights in a day after each other. That marathon sesh would make the Magnificent 7 seem like a piece of ****.

I put my name down for the boxing and judo last year, I think it's June 2011 they go on sale.
