I picked Mayweather's pull counter, because it's currently what I'm working on in the gym...:D

RJJ's athleticism and B-Hop's ring IQ second.

The Hopkins choice encompassess by far the most assets in comparison to the other picks.

Not really. That IQ didn't help him against Taylor and Calzaghe, while another one of those attributes up there may have...it's all subjective. Styles makes fights.

Normally I wouldn't say athleticism first but RJJ's athleticism was off the charts next it would be Hopkins Ring IQ then PBF' pull counter.

What's that got to do with this though (btw i gave him one of the Taylor fights and the Calzaghe fight, and it was precisely this asset that got him the scoring on my card against Calzaghe, but anyway)

What i'm saying is, ring IQ is not just one thing like a 'pull-counter', or a great 'left hook', if your only great attribute was just one punch or good move then it's not the quite the same as having a great ring IQ, which encompasses a shitload of Ring generalship factors. If the choice for Hopkins would have been his lead right for etc then i mightn't be picking it, but the poll's heavily favoured towards Jones and Hopkins the way i see it because 'athletic ability' and 'ring IQ' are massive attributes compared to a great hook or uppercut or right cross etc.

Of those listed it would have to be Roy Jones Jr. He had the reflexes, speed & anticipation that made James Toney look slow & amateurish.

    You're actually right. I wish I could re-do the poll, but I can't.

I'm torn between RJJ's athleticism and Gatti's heart. I don't think many boxer's in history could stand up to what Gatti faced.

Mayorga's ball's are overrated, he was just a psychopath - end of.
