where was briggs banging against sultan ibragimov?
nothing to be nervous about....briggs going 3 guys in the first round who have 44 losses between them shouldnt be able to make you think anything other than he hes lazy, unmotivated and talked his way into a shot at the title

    Indeed.

When you consistently clean house against everyone you fight, I fail to see how he's faded.

Some love the drama and attention getting the *he's faded/there for the taking* nonsense gets, but its bull****, plain and simple.

When he starts at least losing a few rounds per fight, we'll rethink if he's *there for the taking*.

.....but til then, he's in top condition, every fight, and dominates his opponent, every fight.... dominated then KOed his last opponent with a brutal overhand right.,.............so stop with the pleas for attention, cause so far, the man hasn't lost it.........No.

I don't agree. If Briggs is really at 242 pounds and comes in focused, he will be a lot tougher than Sosnowski or Johnson, two guys an in-shape Shannon Briggs would take out.

And from all available evidence Briggs is in great shape and taking this very seriously.

I do not think that he has faded lately. Just ask Gaye who is avoiding him like plague.

Is Vitali the greatest shot decline fighter of all times? I mean damn since his comeback, he destroyed Peter, Gomez, Arreola. <<Back2back2back. We talking about a shot decline fighter right? Yea it took Vitali to destroyed Sos but so what? Back in 05 it took Vitali 8th round to tko a bum Danny Williams.

Vitali isn't shot because he's still beating some decent competition easily. But he is clearly declining and that was apparent even when he was clubbing Peter to death. He's still good enough to beat everyone in the division besides Wlad(who would beat Vitali handily at this point). But guys like Haye, Povetkin,Solis, and Chambers are closing the gap on Vitali every month that passes.

He'll still beat Briggs by ko but I think his window of being so dominant is starting to close. He's nearing 40 and has suffered some real injuries so I don't think we'll see Vitali in the ring too much more.

I think he seems to be enthused by his comeback and his success and may stay at it longer than we think.

But once/if he were to get Valuev or Haye in the ring, that'd be his final fight, assuming he won, of course. I think he's staying at it, one, cause he's still dominating everyone, and two, cause he wants a career defining fight with Haye as his swan song.

Only cos he only fight VS ****ing tomato-can BUMS like Snowski , Johnson ETC. they have padded-as-**** records VS even shitter BUMS - BUT that dont change teh fact they are BUMS. :deal

Briggs was v.good slugger 12 yrs-ago - BUT now he V.SHOT And no better than a average BUM.
    :deal
