Just thought I'd start a thread to say what a fitting send off it was to a great man hundreds and hundreds of people turned up to see him off and it was clear there were lots of ex boxers there that had come from far and wide to pay their respects a few famous faces as well conteh and stracey were there I sure there were many more I didn't spot.
Glad to hear that wrimc. Least the legend got a fitting send off. British Boxing really does pull together for things like this.

Kool, Rudkin is an ATG British boxer, arguably the greatest to never win a World title. To the OP, I'm so glad he got a fitting send-off.
I was in the city yesterday as well, I remember seeing Alan at my Grandad Chuck Mcgowan funeral the lads were talking of him like you would a big sports star today, it would of been nice to be there.
