Floyd Mayweather could go 20 rounds in my opinion. Because of his defensive style he knows when to relax. Manny Pacquiao can go 15 but will start to fade around 13-14, because he throws so many punches.

jmm could go 15 rounds especially at the time when he was at 130 and below.

It's hard to tell. Those old 15 round fights usually start slow with both fighters feeling each other out round after round.

Im just curious but how did guys use to go 40 and more rounds. Must have been hell of a slow fight.

His defensive style or the quality of his opponents? If you are too sure of your opinion then why did he duck Pacquiao? :patsch

Pretty much any fighter who can go reasonbly hard for 12 rounds could do it for 15 rounds. It's just a matter of what a guy prepares for, and how he paces himself. For some reason 15 round fights are overly romanticized.

even though valero is dead...he was running marathons....i never saw him tired.
and in case people dont know what a marathon, most equate to " a long way"
    its 26.2 miles.

Are there not enough threads about this for you to go onto without using this one?

MArgarito would be more efective in 15 round bouts, he would pressure any fighter for the hole 15 rounds.
