He had reached his level IMO. The next step up would've been Marquez IMO and that would've spelled disaster for El Inca. IMO, Katsidis, Juan Diaz and Soto would all have beaten him too, though Valero could well have cut The Baby Bull with his slashing shots and taken him out. Valero was just too sloppy, Mosquera was his best win and, whilst an entertaining fight Valero finishes him so sloppily it's embarrasing. His power was completely overrated as well. Some nice shots, the first kd against Pitalua was tidy, but mainly required many bombs to end a fight. There's a moment against DeMarco where he lands a flush left hand that a disheartened Demarco is walking into and he remains standing. If he really was a 'super puncher' it would've done more damage. Sorry to be so negative on him, but I've never been impressed with from 130lbs onwards. He showed some improvements by the time of the DeMarco fight, but still didn't look Elite level. In my opinion :good
