So glad to be wrong! Looking for THREE golds, Paddy the bored, McCarty and at least one from the other three, all are live hopes, O'Kane is good but has a tough 'un(he holds a win over Quigley, I think) and the odds are probably 3 from 5, but odds dont bother these boys much.
you are like a teenage girl in love with George Michael in the Wham days, in other words yer in for a big dissapointment. He is an average fighter, in an average division, with average ability, overestimated power and a below average reach! Its only a matter of time before he gets found out!
P4P championatsch - Be realistic, you are predicting Carl will be one of the elite boxers in the world after only 6 fights. From what i have seen of him i think he could win a domestic title within the next 18 months.Thats as much predicting as i am willing to make. A european title is probably well within his reach too but long term if he can get a world title fight he will be doing great. You sound like Manny Steward talking about Lee a couple of years ago, thankfully Carl seems fairly grounded.Dont be messin with his head
Jebus lads you have a hard time working out which bits I mean and which bits are hyperbole to get a rise out of you :tong I hope you're not that naive in the real world :rofl I don't think Carlos will be losing the run of himself just because I give it banter on here. Sure I've even busted out a few rhymes on behalf of the brick fisted one! That said he'd splatter the likes of Ricky Owen around the place and I stand by that even if he only has had 7 fights. The big fat baby won't be beating Carlos anyway. I doubt he'd get down to 122 without chopping off a limb and I can't see Carlos eating his way up to 140 odd or whatever he's at now. I need to know the date of the next Frampton fight though. I need to start buttering up the missus so I get the greencard to go if its going to be near xmas.
Gawn Farrell boy, lay inta him!!! He said he would fight you for the Irish title if Barry has the balls to put you in with anyone that isnt coming off a loss! Triple Header of Irish title eliminators Carl Frampton v Kieran Farrell Chris O'Brien v Gavin Prunty Phil Townley v Tommy Tolan [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq6yjwWMpCg[/ame]
After there preformaces in the Commonwealth Games it would be great to see them get on the High Preformace team even for a year or so to see how they get on before the Olympic quailifiers.
Anybody find any betting on the finals? Found some and got to say I'm surprised by some of the odds: Barnes 1/2 Gallagher 11/10 McCarthy 4/7 O'Kane 8/11 Ward 6/5 http://www.skybet.com/betting/commonwealth-games/boxing/t10005893.html
