Wlad only has this pass because he's fighting three times a year, and because Chisora is an interesting undefeated prospect.

But, will you count Chisora as one of Wlad's notable wins (like Byrd, Chagaev, McCline, Brewster, Brock, Chambers, etc.)??

    No.

good tune up and he isnt notable

and wont be cause Wlad will derail him early on and he wont pan out to be anyhting special thats why its hard to rate Wlad's wins now

Look on the bright side, at least Chisora is young and enthusiastic still, so he won't show up with the mentality of survive these 12 rounds and collect my pay cheque, and that's retirement set up like some Wlad opponents. He's going to get murdered because he's not talented or experienced enough but I think he'll at least have a crack at it.

Is every single fight expected to be a home run opponent?

Look at Wlad's resume. He fights mandatories and highly ranked contenders, continually.

Even Ali had to take on an unknown prospect every now and than, And given that the list of potentially good and willing opponents is so extremely limited, I think Wlad picking a young, undefeated, big heavyweight who is in decent condition is very acceptable.........not to mention that he's fighting fairly often in doing so.

Given the conditions, I don't see how anyone can reasonably complain over this fight.

he's defending his title, which a champion is supposed to do. It's not his fault that he has problems finding worthy opponents. I applaud him for staying active. You can't take that away from him.

Wlad should probably just wait until Harrison is beat by Haye and then start negotiations with Haye again...

or he can continue to fight guys that have no chance...

And what is exactly is interesting about Chisora?

    His lack of punching power?

    His lack of mobility?

    His lack of speed?

If he's fighting to exhuast a tv contract and b/c he wants to stay active, then fine assuming he is the only available. If it's Just to stay busy, I don't get what other than some money is in it for wlad. With a guy this un-accomplished, an early devastating KO will be expected and that's hasn't been wlad's style
