1922. The finish of the fight between champion Benny Leonard and Rocky Kansas of Buffalo, which was held at Michigan City, Indiana on July 4th. The champion had so badly battered the Buffalo Italian that the latter's manager threw in the towel in the 8th round, to save Kansas from further punishment.
