I doubt it bothered him, it's not really something to be ashamed of considering he went on to become a world champion. He's probably proud of it since it's quite a remarkable turn around.

    :deal

Johnny doesn't seem the egotistcal type. He's actually admitted to being absolutely scared shitless in some of his fights.

To me, Johnny Nelson always seemed proud that he lost his first three, and overcame such adverity to become world champion. And so he should be. He might have been unfashionable at the time, but Johnny Nelson should be an exampe to every other British boxer in my opinion!!!

I'm starting to really enjoy ringside... it has it's cringy moments but there is more good than bad. Dean Powell struggled a bit especially when they were quizzing him on Khan vs Prescott

Fury vs Price ... nice one

Not sure what Dallas would think about his promoter calling Price the best heavy weight in the country. For me Dallas has looked far more impressive everytime I've seen him

That was a good segment when they discussed matchmaking and in fairness to Smith he asked some good questions.

The videos of various commentators on matchmaking in Ed Robinson's piece was excellent.

I hope they have a discussion topic like this every week - it makes the show much more interesting.

I had to laugh at Maloney saying that he would make Price-Fury in the new year. I will believe it when I see it. He has Price fighting another easy one in his next fight.

If Maloney says he would do what Warren is doing ie. matching two of his top fighters Smith-Degale i.e. then how about Maloney starts to match up his big heavyweights? Get Dallas v Price on?

At least Warren has proven to be a better matchmaker with Chisora-Sexton, Rogan-Sexton, Rogan-Skelton, Rogan-Harrison. Maloney needs to do less talking and make the fights.:good

Dallas vs Price would be brutal but brilliant... and I'd stick all the money I have on Dallas to win....

problem is they'd need to commission a bigger ring

Yeah, they really did quiz Powell, and he looked put on the spot on a couple of occasions! I'm glad they actually asked some decen questions rather than pussyfooting around the issues!!! Really enjoyed that segment of ringside!! It's shaping into a quality programme

I know i noticed that, because he got left out of the conversation he has to butt in... that face he always pulls aswell really pisses me off, he has one of them faces you just wanna punch, his commentating is shocking aswell he is always growling down the mic at the top of his voice and follows anything jim watt says.:twisted:
