Morris's record is 2-2-2. His last fight was a 4 round points defeat by Nick Okoth in September.

Frank Maloney is not exactly pushing Dallas:patsch

WHAT?! i thought by now he would push Dallas ona bit he has had a fair few fights shown some improvement and the British scene is up for grabs but Maloney seems to be holding all the prospects hostage

Bit of a waste of time. I don't know whether it would work out economically but they should be looking at the Yank kid Fury fought last time out. He wasn't dangerous but he was durable and knew how to survive, Dallas couldn't break Peret down so that would be a good challenge for him.

i understand why the ingles would hold back hayles / towers...
but dont understand maloney holding back dallas...he's on his 12th fight, and ready to move on...looks good to me...and from what we seen recently getting good heavy sparring in with price...

Paul Morris isn't bad, but he's not a heavyweight.

Damian Campbell is on the bill. He appears to be pushed harder. He debuted against Swaby and now has Colin Kenna tomorrow. I accept Kenna was wiped out last by Larry, but he is a better opponent than Morris

why is he not moving him on,its a awful for his 12th fight.

it was only last night on ringside maloney was saying a loss isnt everythin,so why does he match his prospects so softly?

It is disgraceful matchmaking, same with David Price's opponent. Maloney is the worse of the sky tv promoters - his cards are consistently loaded with mismatches and he is the worst culprit for zealously protecting fighters:deal

Compare those two match-ups and then laugh out loud at what Maloney was pontificating about regarding matchmaking on Ringside last night:nut

What do people think of Towers? Looks an interesting type. Very good jab on him, he actually puts far more spite on that jab than David Price who completely wastes his.

Very athletic too, fast hands, looks an okay puncher.

However. He stands so upright he looks like an oak tree. His defence looks absolutely dreadful I saw him getting tagged by that pregnant bald guy he fought. I worry he's going to be one of those big tall beanpoles that gets sparked out by a solid puncher. He's too tall for his own good and he doesn't have his hands up, easy target.

i think they will...they know he wont do much, cause if they did have confidence in him he'd have been pushed along like fury...especially at his age, they havent got time to mess about..
no, i expect they are waiting for the likes of dallas, price, sexton, rogan etc to sort themselves out and try and steer an easy course to a british title shot for him and that'll be the most to expect.

funny, towers is about the same age that paul sykes was when he was doing the same...has the same prison background stint...comes from the same area...and i expect him to be the same, get guided nice and easy, avoiding too much trouble, to a british title shot and then get beat there and that'll pretty much be that.

Sky need to crack down on it and make Maloney put on better fights or throw him out and give someone like Hennessy a crack at it.
