He got injured in the 4th but fought on and won handily over 10, but he showed age and vulnerabilty. However, if he can get back into a groove then i think i'd like to see him in with tomasz adamek. That fight could get made pretty easy, and is one that favors antonio's style.
Dude, Tarver is done like a grilled steak on a BBQ here in 2010... Tarver will milk this ride for about a year while hand-picking some more tomato cans and sorry mothers as long as Showtime buys into it... As for Tarver fighting Tom Adamek, no, not a good move for Tarver... Adamek will smoke him like a blunt... MR.BILL
He looked like ****. Defensively, he looked okay, but he couldn't pull the trigger, and when he did, there was nothing at all on his punches, plus he almost never threw more than one punch at a time.
No. Don't Tarver has always sucked against come forward brawlers. I.E. Glencoffe? Arreola would do what nagy only did for 1 round for 12 if tarver went that far.
so he couldn't duplicate sam "worthless ****" peter's accomplishment? tarver is **** at any weight. retire...now. not even i hate you so much i wish you get hurt
If he seems serious about his HW run, Arreola seems to be the choice gate keeper atm. He'll either win and change his mind, or lose and change his mind.
he looked okay... but I don't think he should get a shot at vitali/wlad but I think he should go fight James toney instead.
maybe now we'll see toney-tarver. i can already picture the press conference and weigh in. it will be chaotic.
Tarver looked good, he looked comfortable in his heavyweight body and he was relaxed in the ring. Won most rounds and had his opponent rocked a couple of times even though he fought a paced, tactical sort of fight.
