I don't think Cain has the power to knock him out cold. I don't think it matters anyway, Lesnar will take him down and win the fight on the ground.
My favourite part of the argument is how nobody explains how Cain is going to get Brock off him on the floor. That's where the Cain argument falls down.
Lesnar is nothing but the Jess Willard of MMA he can't fight he is winning because of his size all the guy can do is throw somebody to the ground and throw 50 hammer punches and hope for a stoppage.
Wrong historical boxing HW champ. He is Jim Jefferies; not just size, but world class athleticism. It's not his size, it's his power, and his technique in wrestling.
He is a good wrestler but that is it. It takes him 50 hammer punches to finish someone the guy is a big oaf with ZERO stand up skill at all. He is good at what he does but he is a one trick pony.
He has dropped 3 fighters with his standup. He gets clipped once and now suddenly he has no standup. Again, he is anything but an oaf, he is pretty much always going to be the better athlete in all of his fights.
Should be good, I think Lesnar might take this as I cant see Velasquez being able to stop the takedown but he could catch Lesnar with one of those bombs that he caught my man Nog with :| & score the KO, I will be rooting for Velasquez & even tho I lean towards Lesnar, nothing will suprise me... unless Cain wins by tombstone or some ****.
i hope cainwins just cause lesnar has a beard and everyone thinks hes gonna be a good striker , he brings in pat berry? OK?! lesnar will win on the ground after he finds out he wont win standing
cains ganna win this one in the deep water. i can honestly see cain getting taken down repeatedly and still wearing lesnar out.. brock will look very dominant for the first three rounds but once he gasses a little and the explosiveness is gone from his shots hes ganna realise he just cant keep up with the guy.. cain will tee off in the last two rounds gauranteed
Cains powerful and a grinder but his hands aren't actually that good. He is wild and leaves alot to be desired technically. This content is protected
I don't think Cain would ever engage in the kind of antics Lesnar did after he beat Frank Mir. Velasquez is more self-contained and a very bright guy. I don't think Lesnar would reprise that garbage - his illness and brush with death seems to have made him more low-key and self-effacing now. However, his behavior after the second Frank Mir fight was disgraceful and here is hoping for a Cain victory. Cain won't gas like Carwin did although Lesanr's brute strength can sap anyone's endurance and vigor. I think Cain is more skilled though and can use momentum and angles thereby not sapping his endurance. If he hurts Lesnar he can finish him.
haha yea that racist "Brown Pride" tattoo is definately indicative of him being a better human. Imagine the shitstorm Brock would get if he had a giant "White Pride" tattoo on his chest! The double standard in America is ridicules.
