yeah im a liverpool fan and wouldnt touch them, gerrard is 3/1 to get a yellow card with skybet which i think is a decent bet.
Yeah guess i know what ur saying but could depend on Evertons starting line up ...is Jag fit ? Risky bet either way for moi !
Me and a mate were chasing money after a big loss on a football game and we're sitting watching womens volleyball on Eurosport, both had huge bets on it. Remember thinking to myself, this **** just aint right. (It won, luckily enough)
Recommended Bets * Date of Game: Saturday*16th October Game: Mainz 05 v Hamburg - kick-off 2.30pm Competition: Bundesliga *** Selection: Mainz to win* Best Prices2.4 with*Interwetten2.35 with 12bet, Mansion88, Fun88, BetPhoenix2.34 with Pinnacle2.32 with 5Dimes, Sportbet, Chronicle 2.31 with 188bet 2.3 with various * Reasoning: No apologies for being predictable here! I try to stay away from hyperbole but for me this is probably as good a bet as we are going to get*this season.** After their win over Hoffenheim before the International break, Mainz*have now won 7 out of 7 Bundesliga games and now jointly hold the record for the best ever start to the Bundesliga season and obviously a win tomorrow will see them claim that record as their own. * That win also means that Mainz now*are officially the joint best performing home side in the Bundesliga (along with Bayern Munich) in the last 2 seasons.*Their total home record since their promotion to the Bundesliga*is P21, W13, D6, L2, F32, A17.** If you ignore the name of the side involved and just look at the numbers it is*crazy that a side who has won 7 out of 7 games this season (including winning at Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg) and*is the joint best performing home side in the league*over*the last 2 years*is available to back at 2.3+. * That is especially so when Hamburg arnt the strongest away side. Their 2010 away record is P12, W3, D3, L6 and they haven't kept a single clean sheet in those 12 games.*Mainz have got where they are so far this season by taking a very attacking approach. They have scored at least twice in every game so far.* * As I said in the write-up for the*last Mainz game, if you ignore the fact that it is little old Mainz and look at those stats above, the current odds are*a lot bigger than they should be. Mainz at home have performed better over the last 2 seasons than any other Bundesliga side.*You would certainly not get anywhere close to 2.3+ if this was Bayern Munich, Dortmund, Leverkusen etc*at home to Hamburg.
Mainz bet looks decent value. Stuck a tenner on to see if the tip works out and going for a few draws in the PL. Not convinced by the Man U., Chelsea and Arsenal bet this weekend.
I'm having a good day so far. Had Arsenal and United in the over 2.5's come in already and had a 6/1 and a 13/1 come in on the Horses.
I've only had one bet and am now nearly there with the Bellew money. Went with the Arsenal vs Birmingham draw at 5/1 before KO, and laid at 11/5 just after Birmingham scored..... £75 up. I'm looking at a couple of games, but might **** them off and shove that on both teams to score in the Boro vs Leeds game, will give me a nice pot for the boxing tonight.
Once more Beeston I am in your debt, sir - I was going to double up Man Utd and Arsenal with my winnings from Tues night's five fold, but after checking the recent form on yer Boro/Leeds tip, I decided to stick them on that at around the same odds. After that first half though, I was thinking of sticking something on Leeds winning to nil - **** me, Middlesborough looked awful. Just as I got back from the pub though, Boyd scores. Was going to roll it all into a Klit stoppage, but I see that's gone all the way out to 1/6.
I've got both teams to score and the draw being the result in separate bets..... if it stays as is I'm even on the day so far, if Boro score again I'm laying the bet off and using the pot over the remainder of the weekend. Depending on what I win today, rounded down to the nearest £50 is going on Briggs by stoppage. Really got the feeling for an upset tonight.
You're a braver man than me, but good luck with that :good. I notice oddschecker are showing 9/1 as the best price for a Briggs KO, although BET365 seem to have it at 10/1 at the minute. Think I'll probably role my pot onto a Man City win tomorrow - surely one of the big guns - Arsenal apart - is going to take a win this weekend.
I only had £32 on Briggs...... all in all I was £50 up yesterday. Shoving that on the draw in the Mersey derby - with both teams showing improved performances.
