Exactly right about Briggs turning to his right, along with VK's the right hand shots, thereby causing alot of them to not have full force on Brigg's head. But Vitali did, on a few occassions, right after landing the right, he'd step to his left and then land a left hook in close. That was effective and did alot of damage. I gotta admit, regardless of Briggs being tough and so big, I think Vitali's lack of body english put behind his punches is what has diminished his KO power.
Is there really anybody out there that honestly thinks Haye could beat either Klitscho? When he first came up, I thought the Hayemaker might have a chance against Wlad. But Wlad is now following his brother's lead...He's hard to hit. Haye is an ambitious fighter, and if he thought he could have beaten either Klitscho, he would have taken the fight. He opted for the easy way out to pad his bank account. I give him about a 1 in 6 chance against either figher, which is what the odds were when he was originally slated to fight Vitali. What has changed since then?
haye does hit harder than vitali you dick riding fan boy!! if you have a pair of eyes in your head, use them. that would save me from using mine to read your ****.
Louis fought Walcott, Schmeling, Ezzard Charles and Rocky Marciano - All great heavyweights who have gone down in history. Holmes fought Ali, Norton, Shavers and prime Tyson and Holyfield - All great heavyweights. Who have the Klitschko's fought? Samuel Peter? The best win either Klitschko has is Vitali's impressive KO vistory over an out of shape Corrie Sanders who made quick work of Wlad. How pathetic that the best win between the two of them was over an overweight South African golfer. Vitaly is otherwise known for getting cut to pieces by a shot, past his prime Lennox. Pathetic. I used to like you Klitschko fan's, but some of the comments you have made in this thread make me ashamed to be a fellow boxing fan. Consider yourself a twat.
The question is, what does that mean? Liston clearly hit harder than Ali, so did Foreman. Is there are point to be made here. The fighter who lands more hard shots is usually the won who stands on the ring ropes at the end of the bout...right? Even at 40 year old, Haye does not think he can beat Vitali. He's had several opportunities to make the fight, and he's backed out. What does that tell you?
I meant he is content to continue peppering hurt opponents with the same big shots, usually just trying to land rights as you said in a previous post, as oppossed to stepping it up a notch and going all out trying to stop them as he did againt Kirk Johnson once he hurt him.
never boxed? i don't spar anymore, but i still work the bag 5 days a week. trust me, i know how to box.
And you still don't know that the hardest puncher doesn't always win? I don't think Vitali is a huge puncher, but he hit hard all the time. It's called attrition, and it why Haye has run from Vitali. Haye hit hard as hell when he can hit a guy. But he wouldn't hit Vitali. The original line was Vitali 6 to 1 when their oginal bout was announced. Nothing has changed. If they agreed to a figt tomorrow, Haye would still be a 6 to 1 underdog.
