  2. to be fair, vitali was still in that fight when it was stopped. anything could have happened. that being said, lennox won it fair and square.

Regardless of what you say,the fight was stopped because of cuts,a tko.
There should have been a re-match cos it was too close to call but even though Lewis promised he would fight Vit again he retired.
The fight would have generated mega bucks.
VK would have stopped Lewis and both fighters knew this.
Would have been a great fight though,we all lost out when there was no return.

Vitali would have stopped Lewis, he already did, in his dreams many times, never would have in reality though, never.

watch the 6th round he was holding on so much

He's grabbing Lewis every time he throws a shot. He barely threw a shot in the last 2 minutes

I'm way more of a Lewis fan than either Klits, but Lennox did a Floyd on Vitaly. :deal

Lennox wanted to end his career on a positive note with a win over a guy he knew he may get beat up by if he fought him again.

If the rematch did happen I'd pick a properly trained Lennox all day. Why no rematch Lennox? Afraid of an extra few million dollars? Afraid of Vitaly?

If that's what you thought you saw, then yes, you were watching a different fight. The fight I and millions of others saw, had V.K. getting upwards of 50 stitches after the fight he had with Lewis, and was bleeding from mutiple cuts. Too bad you missed it, it was a clinic by Lewis.

Vitali is no spring chicken at 31 for that fight. If he was 25 I might concur.

Gotta love how Lewis was 37 not 38, and Vitali is 39 now, far more dominating than Lennox ever was.
