Outside of the top HW's who would you rate as the best about now?

they are all average and flawed. a much of a muchness. i used to like chagaev a lot but he failed to impress when it really mattered.

 

Adamek...

 

Adamek and Haye...that's about it.

 

Out of that list Adamek accomplished the most by far Its not even debatable.

Adamek is a true warrior but sadly he aint that good at HW
Povetkin is done. Atlas ruined him. he got floored by Mora and got hit quite alot by that tomato guy he fought on sat. He doesnt have that stamina and huge punchoutput anymore too. Hes way past his best already, hes just one fatty dude. Fast Eddie (Dimitrenko, Wlad fights) would beat any version of Povetkin, fat Eddie got outworked back then though.fit and motivated Peter from Wlad fight would smash Povetkin too.
Chagaev has achieved more than Haye has and would school Haye but Haye is going to run away from his mandatory challenger and will make excuses because Chagaev carrys a hep infection even though Haye is vaccinated against hep

 

I would say Chagaev
Then Haye , Povetkin , Adamek

 

Haye, easily, not even close IMO.

Chagaev beat both of Haye's top HW opponents and when they mattered (Valuev unbeaten, Ruiz in top5), plus he beat Sprott who sparked Audley Harrison who's supposed to be Haye's 3rd best @ HW. No shame in losing to Wlad. I rate Chagaev as the best behind the Klitschkos.

 

Chagaev is past his prime, still a good enough fighter. At the moment, I would take Haye by UD against Chagaev.

I hope one day that Haye fights Adamek because it will just show how **** Adamek really is... massively overrated.
