    The Archie Moore Story

It also includes his 'secret' diet.

If as Duodenum says that Archie wrote this book entirely himself, I must say his writing style is very engaging, self depreciating (at times, but in a cocky manner if you understand) and very witty.

How familiar are you with his interviews and manner of speaking? Ali said Archie was the one opponent who gave better than he got in the trash talking department. (Muhammad made this admission on camera during an interview he gave for some obscure kid's show in the States during the late 1970s-early 1980s. I was flipping channels and stumbled across it.)

Judging by the way Moore talked, it certainly seems highly possible he did write it. He was a highly media savvy master of self promotion who executed an impressive media blitz to build up for a challenge of Marciano, publishing articles with titles like, "Rocky won't hit me!" Ali credited Gorgeous George for inspiring his manner of braggadocio, but it seems highly probable to me that an element of Archie's influence was there as well.

I'm envisioning sort of a more technical Hamed? I don't think it would be distraction but it seems to go against his mentality. Mentality makes a fighter just as easily as attributes do. Interesting to ponder.
