What was so wrong with his offer to the Klitschkos?

As far as I was aware they didnt have to beak any German tv contract to fight Haye.

    Boring 99% of the time.

The reason people bring up past fighters is because the losses to them were so sensationally bad and the fighters themselves were terrible.

I really dont think Vitali's heavyweight career has been boring. It defo stands up to any other modern day heavyweight.

Both the brothers are watchable, Vitali more so than Wlad. They are both frustrating because you always feel they could let their hands go more, so they're not very exciting, but they are watchable. They still knock out most of their opponents

I agree, I find Vitali OK to watch nowadays and in the past he's been involved in some great entertaining bust ups.

OK, Wlad can be a challenge to stay awake to nowadays, but even then, you can perhaps admire his technique.

Are you an insider?? The Klitscko's have a 5 fight exclusive contract with RTL. The Peter fight was the 3rd in that deal.

Vitali Klitschko offers David Haye 50-50 split for fight

Klitschko calls on Haye to accept offer

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has laid down an offer that should remove him from the politics of blame in a bout with WBA titlist David Haye.

In a bid to fight Haye, Klitschko offered the Brit a 50-50 split purse contract, manager Bernd Boente confirmed. He said: “We proposed that each fighter would receive 50 per cent of the world rights, it is a fair offer. Haye has just to agree to it.”

I would like to knock out Haye so that we can claim the only belt missing from the family's collection," said Klitschko

"There is no-one in the world apart from my brother who can beat me, I am the strongest. I still have plenty of energy, and in a few months, I will be ready to get back in the ring."

I really don't know which thread to point this in the direction of. I know Vitali said this again the other night but nothing has changed its the same thing. There is pages and pages of peoples responces to this if you search a little. I think I am just going to go and scream into a pillow till people stop making floyd vs pac and haye vs klit threads!!!

Just caught it in today's news, sorry. The CNN article I posted is just a couple of hours old.

If it upsets you that much it might be worth while just ignoring the thread.

Do you not agree that this thread has been done before?

And it gets difficult to ignore when a third of the forum is threads about the same thing,

I haven't seen a thread in here on Klits latest call out of Haye, no.

I didn't start a new one either, I bumped an old one.

i've got a feeling this will drag on longer until vitali will hit haye with a 'winner take all' offer...and haye wont really be able to say no..will he ?

    this current offer -
“We proposed that each fighter would receive 50 per cent of the world rights, it is a fair offer. Haye has just to agree to it.”

is 'world rights' really a 50-50 offer ?

The thing is I believe both Haye and Vitali could get their respective sanctioning bodies (WBA + WBC) to grant them exceptions to delay their mandatory defenses if they can agree on a unification bout.

So that shouldn't be the problem... if both really want to fight for 50/50.
