I kinda feel that the circumstances of the Mayweather-Hatton bout is similar to the Pacquiao-Barrera fight back in 2003. No one really favored Pacquiao to win back then just like Hatton now. Maybe Hatton just might pull off the upset and be the one who can really beat Floyd.
I really wanted to see this fight at 140. I believe I remember Mayweather's people trying make the fight happen then, and Hatton wanting to fight someone else first. I think that Hatton's strength would have been more imposing at that weight. Hatton's lack of "respecting" his opponent's space is a plus in this fight. If you casually follow Mayweather around you'll most likely lose. You'll end up somewhere between Baldomir or De la Hoya, but losing all the same. In order to beat Mayweather, you have to be a little more like Castillo. Hatton will try to press even harder than Castillo did. If this fight ends up looking like Leonard vs. Duran I, Hatton could stop the pretty boy. The problem for Hatton is that it could also end up looking like Leonard vs. Duran II. I am definately tuning in to see what happens. Like I said, been waiting for this since they were at 140.
Barerra is up Pac's lane as he was right there for Pac to hit.....Floyd wont for Hatton..but i do understand the comparison of the fight.
It reminds me of the buildup to Mayweather/Catillo II. In that fight Mayweather was the favorite, but many people said that Castillo's preassure fighting style would give him trouble and pointed to Mayweather/Castillo I as proof. In the end, Mayweather bloodied up Castillo's face and cruised to a UD.
I like PBF but god you are the worse PBF fan I have seen. You are taking it to an different level altogether. I bet you are willing to jump off a cliff if PBF told you to do so.
