MAidana only chance is by ko, I don't think he can win on points, Khan is to good of a boxer and has good power.
Khan appears to have a narrow cranium..so when ever he gets a moderately hard knock around the temple or top of the head there is less fluid to cushion the blow and its more likely his brain will "switch off" temporarily otherwise known as the chicken dance effect. If you analyse all his knock downs the main damage was done by shots around the forehead area. If he is wearing a headguard or his opponent is a relatively light puncher then he can recover..but if they hit reasonably hard like prescott or very hard like maidana it is highly unlikely that he will recover in time to beat the count. I hope Khan doesnt try to be macho and go toe to toe with Maidana but boxes sensibly for the first few rounds and soften Maidana up for the late stoppage.
My approx prediction: Khan comes out, looks shockingly good for 6 rounds catching Maidaina with sharp combinations, in the mid-rounds Khan starts realising hes close to the ref stepping in to stop Maidaina recieving unneeded punishment, steps it up and overlooks defence and bam, Maidaina lands, wobbles Khan. An uncomposed Khan tries to fight back like he did when wobbled against Prescott and is caught with another 2-3 hooks and counted out. Either that or Khan sparks out Maidaina in 5 rounds or wins a lopsided boring UD. This fight could either be exciting as **** or boring and slow paced. Lets see.
