I mean I cant believe you posted a video of Peter ****ing Crouch and compared him to Vince Carter jumping over a 7 footers head or Lebron James or Dwight Howard.

Thats frankly insulting to real athletes.

So much so that they need pads?
So the athletes being better means that they make more money? It has nothing to do with the popularity of the sport, etc? :huh

And? They dominated for years, but because they you are going through a dry spell, so to speak, it has to be down to your "Heavyweight champions" going to other sports? Excuse!
Arreola and Chambers are the best you can produce at the minute. As soon as you get someone competitive, all of these excuses will be forgotten...and no doubt you will be saying that boxing is getting bigger again, there are more boxing gyms, etc.

I'm floored that you can still call anyone stupid on this forum.

When did I even imply that Arreola and Briggs are as good as the guys you listed? Just because you can't produce a champion automatically means there has to be a reason for it...not as simple as that no-one is good enough.

'Football is the biggest sport in the UK...it has stolen 10's and 100's of our Middleweight champion's'...imagine I made a statement like that, you would be all over it.

No they would not...but it still doesn't change the fact that you or anyone else can't produce a boxer good enough to challenge them in this weak era.

Out of the guys you listed in basketball, etc...have you ever seen anyone of them throw a punch? If not, what makes you think that they would have became a Heavyweight champion? Or are you just basing it on their physical attributes?

Ok then, you may not have said that your Heavyweight champions are in other sports...but that's clearly what you are trying to make out, otherwise why are you even debating?

Why the **** doesn't he do the high jump then? I forgot you need to be able to jump at least 7 feet to become a Heavyweight contender.

They where pads because hits that are illegal in Rugby are legal in the NFL. Most players actually use the helmet as a weapon as it is far more durable then the human skull. Something Brits also fail to grasp. Oh and the athletes are bigger faster and stronger.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAR_zEvT7dM[/ame]

If these guys werent wearing pads they'd be dead.
So after 100 years of utter domination. We hit a dry spell.:lol: What a buffoon you are.

100 gyms in New York 30 years ago. 10 today. But its a dry spell. Not a boxing popularity in the shitter spell but a dry spell. You're a clown. :rofl
There is very little chance of boxing ever being big in America again. Again you are an idiot.
The reason is boxing isnt popular you moron. Boxing is behind tennis. The most gifted athletes go into other sports.
I saw 7'0 300lb Shaquille O'neal clown Shane Mosley and Freddie Roach say with seriousness with a few years of training he'd turn him into a heavyweight champion.

But what does Roach now. I mean this dumb Brit here thinks that Peter Crouch is athletic as Lebron James, that American heavyweights are just in a dry spell after 100 years and that boxing being dead in America has nothing to do with it.

Sheesh you are a genius. :rofl

Its an example of athleticism moron. A guy who 30 years ago would have been training in a boxing gym instead of a basketball court. And there are thousands of guys in America just like him that dont do boxing and never will again.

Again its not a hard concept to understand. But yeah dry spell you ****ing idiot.

Enjoy Klitscko like fighters bear hugging and jabbing fat slobs like Arreola for the next 30 years of boxing. Will come back after that and discuss the dry spell. :rofl

Dumbest argument of all time. European fighters have the same quandary. NBA players are the biggest candy asses of any sport. So cancel that out. Look at Carmelo and Mourning trying to fight. Just another excuse by Americans, and I'm American. These same idiots think blacks would dominate hockey if they wanted to.

    You still use pads.

So every country can consistently roll out champion after champion, great after great? And you're calling me a buffoon? I forgot Basketball and the NFL have only just become popular...coincidence that isn't it?
And? You still no doubt have more gyms in America than the majority of countries...so what's your point? You clown.

Once again...you still believe that boxing's popularity has only been decreasing in America...small minded or what.

I forgot boxing is the #1 sport in the UK.
That's one. Where are the rest of these champions going into different sports?

When did I state that, or are you putting words into my mouth?

You state it like it's fact...that's your opinion. Like I said, if somebody really wants to box, they will choose from an early age to box.

http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=247278&highlight=floored :good...you can't call anyone an idiot my friend.

You clearly don't know my opinion on the Klitschko's do you. But I'm from Europe, which means I'm from the same country doesn't it? :huh Try looking outside your own country you narrow-minded ****er...and you might see that the whole world doesn't revolve around America.

'Boxing isn't as popular in America'...it can't be down to the fact that you can't produce the boxers to compete, nor can it be that someone is better than you at something. :patsch

Put simply, Its a tired, half witted, silly excuse to rationalize why blacks do not dominate heavyweight boxing, or boxing in general anymore. Mainly its brainwashed racist, xenophobic American fans that have no concept that this is now a global sport and every ethnicity produces great fighters. They always conveniently forget that when their black superheros dominated back in the day, they never had to face anyone from the Soviet Union or Eastern bloc countries. And back to the heavyweights today, either Klitschko would beat Labron James or Ray Lewis's ass so bad they would get charged with hate crimes...

Uhh we do produce boxers that can compete. Chris Arreola, Eddie Chambers, compete just fine. They cant beat the best which are the Klitsckos but nobody can. Chambers and Arreola wouldnt be top 20 heavyweights in any other era. They are top 10 in this era. Hell Shannon Briggs who was gifted a decision against a shot 300lb George Foreman in his prime is a top contender in this era apparenty.

Again I have to break it down for your dumbass. The WHOLE division is in the shitter. There are no great heavyweights. The Klitsckos are just good and they are blowing away everyone else. WE got friggin Lightheavyweights like Adamek moving up and making noise. You think this would have happened in Tysons or Holyfields era? You think Ali would have had any trouble smacking the **** out of Adamek? You think Holyfield wouldnt have killed David Haye and made him **** himself? Hell even Lennox Lewis makes david haye look like a journeyman in comparison.

Again you are a ****ing idiot. The truth of the matter is, once the Americans stopped caring about boxing the entire division went to ****. Its one of the least talented least exciting divisions in boxing, probably the most so. Because america's best athletes who produced the best most exciting fighters in the sports history are no longer in it. 100 years of great fights, great fighters gone.

And you think that there is no correlation. That you dumbass Euro's with your stiff attacks and weak chins are suddenly just too good?:lol:

When boxing was the number 1-2 sport in the UK and number 1-2 sport in America, who was still producing greater champions?

Who is still producing greater champions to this day?
