Haye has mandatory defense by April. What are his options? Where the fight may take place given that Chagaev has hepatitis? I imagine Haye would not be too happy fighting outside UK or US.

I would not even be that surprised if chagaev beats him, this is hayes plan beat fraudley, chagaev, adamek valuev 2 then he will be 31 and completely avoids both klitschko's while they are hunting for him. but atleast he makes some money.
Haye is the biggest coward in boxing.

Actually it would be a plus in my book if Haye fought Adamek.

But yeah, he's not going to fight the Klitschkos.

He's going to fight the WBA mandatory circle-jerk for the next few years.

Haye is a joke. He should hook up with Floyds ex-wife and belt her around a bit. But I think Josie has better defensive skils and more pop in her jab than Haye.

Haye will never fight a HW who has a legitimate chance of beating him. As long as he keeps KOing grampas and has-beens, or never-beens, his gravy train will roll on. I really can't blame Haye though. He's a fraud, but a clever one. I blame the idiot Brits who have enabled this fraud all along. If all of Britain's fight fans came down on this charlatan he would be forced to fight a Klitschko, or at least a top HW. As it is, the imbeciles will turn out in droves to see him decapitate poor Audley and encourage him even further to take on little leaguers and AARP members. Next fight: Haye v Rogan. Wait and see.

Chagaev may be on the slide a bit but he would be a tough opponent for Haye. I know Chagaev is the mandatory but I can't see this fight happening anytime soon. If Haye is going to take a risky bout he might as well face a Klitschko but I really see him trying to milk his belt for as long as he can against guys like Harrison or someone with a name and not much else like Holyfield, Rahman, or Tarver.

Unless Chagaev's promoters put up serious money this fight will not happen. If Haye wins the purse bids hes not going to choose to fight in germany or anywhere else Chagaev will get licensed. So he'll just fight the next available contender and that will count as the mandatory. There will be no punishment for what will inevitably be described as ducking as there was never a suggestion that Valuev would receive a punishment for refusing to fight Chagaev.

I would'nt consider this ducking after all why should the champion have to fight on the challengers turf because of the challengers medical condition.

If Haye continues to avoid the K Bros, I think he'll use the Chagaev is my mandatory as a further excuse..

And as you said, it'd probably be a competitive fight.......I am not sure who I'd pick, cause Chagaev is a very skilled, fast, and aggressive fighter........not alot of KO power, but he's got everything else.

hepatitis-B (chagaev has 'B' type i read) is not dangerous to health if you were fully vaccinated in past.
    No excuses David...

Chagaev passes all required tests as he did in the past. He can fight everywhere. this bull**** only has been invented by one Haye nuthugger to give an excuse on why Haye is going to walk away from his mandotory challenger and some brits on here just talk through his hat..
    also Haye is vaccinated

Yeah, Chagaev is still a solid fighter and will give Haye trouble. And I agree in that I can see Haye using Chagaev as long as possible to avoid a Klitschko fight. That would be the strange part of it, Chagaev, while not as likely as a Klitschko, could beat Haye. So, if Haye could lose his title, he might as well face a Klitschko instead. Haye-Chagaev is an interesting situation and I'd like to see how it plays out.

I hope Chagaev exposes Haye. He should be taking a tune up fight soon though, he's been pretty inactive over the last few years

Does this mean WBA is so corrupt that they put up a challenger that Haye does not really have to fight?
