Pep did look a bit slow but Patterson and Ali have to be looked at as HW's. The smaller guys are naturally much faster

I always thought Meldrick Taylor was the fastest combination puncher that I've seen but he didn't always sit on his punches, sometimes just punching from the arms.

The counter one-two from Jones at 7:45 is astonishing in speed.

Very true, you can see the arm punches in the highlights. He also tended to hit air quite a bit. Still, he was amazingly quick

personally speaking, Leonards burst in the 13th round v Hearns was something special.
38mins of fighting a fellow ATG and still being able to conjure up the energy and speed for an onslaught that got progressively faster, takes some effort.

Ali's finish of brian london was incredible for a man of his size

Speaking of...147 Hearns was pretty damn fast! For my $$ though its gotta be Robinson & young Cassius Clay.

Something that shocked me when I watched it on the net was how fast Mayweather Snr's hands looked compared to Leonard's.
    Just mentioning it.
